Whenever I get frustrated and/or disappointed in our Jets/Bombers, I’m going to refer back to this post.

One would think they’re going to come out pretty hard on us tomorrow to atone for that collapse. Hope we make them feel worse about themselves even more.

I heard they were from Kelowna and Kelowna West.

This game is quickly going to get out of hand if we don’t score the next goal.

The amount of give aways in succession not looking like our usual Jet hockey. Yikes.

Imo 1st place is a nice to have not a must have. I’d rather us get all our guys as close to 100% heading into the first game of post season. Ideally having both (securing 1st place and being healthy and ready to go) would be ideal.

Yup that’s why if he needs maintenance to get closer to 100% rest him as much as possible to be ready for post season play.

Some. And we all are on occasion at varying levels (no one has a halo over their head) but some are more consistent with their awful behaviours.

Can we change the title of this thread? Cuz this type of stuff ain't every going to end unless we 100% get at the root causes.

Nice to see EC get the shut out. If CH continues his struggles in the playoffs ( a BIG hope not), wonder if EC gets a look? Probably not and hopefully it never comes to having this discussion.

Finishing first, home ice advantage with an ideal first round match-up is great but EOD as long as they're ready to go, prepped and focused come play-off time I'm less concerned with winning the remaining seven games and more focused on what they need to tinker with to get ready (PP, PK, Faceoffs, gearing up for a physical grind etc etc). Obviously if they lose out the remaining games in convincing ways this less concern becomes great concern.

From design to application, that's the key.

If the Jets don't win the Cup this year (which we all want them to win), what do they need to do this post season to label this 2024/2025 season campaign a success with lots of confidence heading into the 2025/2026 campaign? Lose first round in seven games? Win first round but lose in the second round? Make it to the Conference finals but lose? Make it to the Stanley Cup finals but lose? Only winning the Cup can they label this 2024/2025 season campaign a success? I go back and forth from losing in the Conference finals to losing in the Stanley Cup finals to deem this campaign pretty successful with optimism for next year.

Will there be a passing of the scarf ceremony? As always, I'll show myself out.

Yup cuz that's the route the Stars are taking. Home ice advantage would be nice (as a fan, for the white out for the energy, as an owner for the dolla dolla $$$$$).
