  1. Great questions. We'll have to be creative for sure. For example, I'm thinking we may have to turn our attention to the offense, specifically our receivers.
  2. Yup BA backs up halfbacks and corners.
  3. I'm thinking 8 other teams just received some options.
  4. Yes I don't think DB's get enough credit for this. When they clamp down, the ball is nowhere near them.
  5. Ironically at the pros where you have the best of the best consistent form tackling is rarely seen.
  6. Aggressive, disciplined, know your reads/assignments, don't be a spectator, don't be individually selfish is where we need all our DB's.
  7. I hope this translates into 'ball marked at the 51 yard line' versus 'ball marked at the 31 yard line'. Throw in the odd 'JG takes it to the house' for good measure. It's all about field position.
  8. Throw in Loverboy for the trifacta.
  9. Exactly. I'm sorry it's Chad Kelly the seasoned CFL veteran. Not to mention the fact taking Dukes (QB 2) out (i.e., see ya important experience and confidence builder) where the game was still in the balance but packaging it as hey this is what we did in the pre-season, played all QB's although they didn't play all QB's in this game. Please. You can like Dinwiddie for his playing days and not like his coaching tactics all in one btw. ps Argos suck.
  10. Well keep in mind it is our passive lot's of cushion DB's he went up against. Okay, not fair, but here's hoping our DB's are given the green light to be smart and aggressive against the BC receiving core.
  11. Hang in there my friend.
  12. Wow. Niiice. Sent from downtown Edmonton . . . .
  13. BC sucks. BC sucks. Too early?
  14. Apparently this game to the Argo's, 14 games in, was to be treated exactly like a preseason game. Resting some starters, evaluating/reps for their depth, playing all their qb's except #1 and showing nothing but vanilla. And look how we faired says Argo fan. Gawd I hope this bites them in the a$$.
  15. More pass pro protection in order to give ZC that extra steamboat?
  16. (Insert beat horse gif) TSN sometimes doesn't do much justice when needing to amp of certain parts of the game to add excitement and drama.
  17. Yup. MVP. Can run, can catch, can block, helps set the tone for his teammates on and off the field.
  18. Don’t matter who we play or where we play come playoff time. We execute properly with the talent we have compared to the other 8 teams, we win, they lose.
  19. I don’t mind the aggression on the RedBlacks part. Didn’t work but playing to win.
  20. And or, and I say this with utmost respect, he’s sometimes waiting for that extra steamboat that puts a lot of pressure on the oline to hold their blocks. ‘It’s a team game’ sort of perspective. Not too mention that teams have a lot of game tape on ZC and if they execute well play to his tendencies as they need to.
  21. Not in his dna which I wish it was a bit that would add another dimension of keeping the D off balance.
  22. Which TSN should have jumped all over (ie disrespect) but chose not too. And then they wonder how can we increase viewership? Oh I know show more Save On commercials and promote someone’s song because they bring in sponsorship capital.
  23. 3 or seconds to go before half time, Sask is at mid field and they choose to Tim Burke it ie down the ball. You’re in a dog fight to make the playoffs. Take a shot as we hear what an arm Dolega has. Playing not to lose ain’t going to cut it.
  24. Dinwiddie served up the W for us when he put in the the third string qb when the game was still on the line nicely sucking out all the momentum on his sideline over to ours. I guess giving back up QB Dukes game experience especially at crucial times and winning the actual game isn’t that important as giving reps to your third sting qb.
