  1. TBF, the Leafs still suck. Sorry can't help myself.
  2. If Stuart Skinner is getting thrown under the bus for his play, Helle deserves equal or more. Sorry.
  3. Just another reminder of how this can take hold of a life that seems to have everything going for it. Hope he breaks out of it and stays out of it.
  4. What do you mean people do better? I actually find the conversation going fairly well between posters albeit off the thread topic but that's what happens when there is no where to go to have this convo.
  5. The worst case scenario arrived on the scene.
  6. I get that. It’s how it’s presented to others and how one reacts when challenged on it is what frustrates me at times.
  7. It’s how some respond when their absurd drivel is rightly challenged is what is frustrating to me.
  8. Yes but in certain cases simply stringing words together with no coherency with no critical thought does not render it a perspective, another side, a viewpoint, a belief. It simply makes it an absurd thought wanting it to be true and then gets upset when called on it.
  9. Reffing is hard, especially at this level, it's a thankless job but sure would be nice if they called more of the initial infractions that caused the retaliatory infractions (that happen right after the initial infraction or are delayed for another time, i.e, revenge). We need less of the 'it's usually the guy retaliating that gets called not the guy who started it all' in-game statements.
  10. He took it (pause) out. Classic.
  11. Not going to lie watching Jim Barker and Kate Beirness try to be funny scores high on cringe. Same feeling one gets when in-game interviews happen, i.e., nuisance, weird and often times cringe.
  12. Cite your work class. Sheebus. Sorry, hard to resist beating a joke to death.
  13. Not to mention the fact that for every last one of us freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences of that speech.
  14. Sure feels like this well used quote applies here: Better remain silent and be thought a fool, than open your mouth and remove all doubt.
  15. For me personally it's not hate it's just nervousness in ensuring we are using him appropriately based on his strengths just like any other player.
  16. That makes me nervous.
  17. Whether one likes it or not, that's what happens when you're the GOAT of the team.
  18. Correction, according to a certain poster here, it’s not he said/she said, its they said/they said.
  19. Oh I so hope Utah goes with the name Powder. The meme's will be outstanding.
  20. I like your suggestion here in what they could have said but I think they really could have sent a strong message here modifying your last sentence to: Even though the CBA allows CK to join our preseason activities, all parties have agreed its best he stay away and focus on what he needs to focus on and we look forward to him rejoining us in week #10.
  21. It literally seems like he thinks the league works for him not he works for the league. Also in how he presents himself, I'd replace the word honorary with status.
  22. Yup Pinball could have said something like: While CK works on things he needs to work on as a human being, we want our team to be lasered focus with minimal distractions in preparing for this coming season so respecting that CK will remain offsite until his suspension is lifted.
  23. I remember watching an add with his sons Matthew and Brady and slowly looking over to my wife and mumbling boy he aint at his playing weight.
  24. Oh for sure it's coaching that continues to be the primary problem in gross Leaf land. At what point does Shanahan take on some accountability?
