As was mentioned before, Mitchell's sin was embarrassing the league while the investigation was already started and ongoing. I do not think we have heard the last of this and the Riders will be faced with two equally distasteful choices: either fire Jones and have to keep on paying him (unless he is fired for cause) or having him continue as a subject of ridicule and it is pretty much guaranteed Jones will publicly detonate at some point. And we thought Kelly/Mack/Burke were bad.

I don't think all humans are built that way. There are plenty of pro athletes who sucked with one team and shone with the next.

The screw-ups in Riderville are so monumental that it reflects very, very poorly on the Rider BOD as well as the coaching/GM roles. The board is locked into their position and Jones, so there is no way they will say anything publicly. There is NO "plan B"- Jones is it for at least the season. And the season is not even half over.

Vaughn Martin has enough potential and talent that I would bring him in for a look-see with the Bombers. If there is as much behind the scenes crap going on with the Als as has been hinted at, he may not have given it his best shot there.

It would be only fitting. A note of caution, though- in the loss to the Stamps, Durant looked pretty capable, maybe even better than BLM. Durant was victimized by his receivers and his O-line was not good at all that game.

Bilikudi is an instant NI starter and star- even better, he wants to play in Ottawa. He is definitely worth a first-round choice or he sits.
