  1. Disagree. The Bombers as a team played very poorly due to several key players (who have been outed repeatedly here). We were letting the game slip away before Collaros was injured and he was trending downwards way before that.
  2. Not if O'Shea has anything to say about it.
  3. When a GM sees the team deteriorate and lose three winnable Grey cup games in a row for the same reasons,, he had better step in as has happened before or he will be unemployed.
  4. I think Walters' biggest failing is that he has allowed O'Shea to keep fading/faded players and let promising newbies go.
  5. If the rumours about a lingering injury left over from the 2023 season were true, that would explain all that. Neuf is a good guy and effective when healthy, so lets us hope he is over whatever was limiting him, and hope further that he doesn't have to compensate for a new right guard and incompetent center. There's a fair bit of money to be gained by dumping at least three veterans who, frankly, were not worth their salaries.
  6. And a Haiku to you too.
  7. I fear that we will see LaPolice back again. It wouldn't be a complete disaster, but it would be a clear signal that O'Shea is going to dish out more of what we've had.
  8. Given the way the team rolled over in the Grey Cup game for the third time and struggled through much of the year with the same old problems, there ought to be a significant overhaul rather than a minor tweak or two. So long a O'Shea is Head Coach, I am not confident this is going to happen- the lack of announcements about Jake Thomas and Bighill is worrisome.
  9. Seems to shed blockers well, but more quick than fast.
  10. Wrong Thomas moving out, IMO.
  11. Something like that. I don't know where his head was during the game, but I bet he could see his pancreas from there.
  12. Collaros' finger injury was just the cherry on top of a dismal performance by the offence and an inability of the OC to compensate for the Argo defensive plan.
  13. Butbutbut...he doesn't sound or act like the others here..... Damon Allen and Matt Dunigan say Hi
  14. I think it would make things interesting if the team or teams which are over the cap would be obliged to send an equal amount to any teams under the cap.
  15. In all likelihood he will have a number of very restrictive conditions placed on his release and he will be placed on the national/international sexual offenders list. All this means that his having any sort of professional career is gone and he will probably have to report to police any change of address. He is not scot-free by any means. FYI: virtually all offenders were victimized as children, which does not give them any licence, And not all victimized children become abusers.
  16. There is no way to tell which players were available.
  17. Not to denigrate MBT, but this FIFO stuff has run its course, in my opinion. My son teaches business administration and one of the case studies the class did was to look at the decline of General Motors from the biggest, most dominant auto manufacturer in the world to an also-ran. It came down to group-think and a rigid commitment to management enforcing a culture where different thinking meant a "lateral promotion". If a culture like FIFO in the Bombers means passing over players because they do not fit the norm, then a lot of talent will be lost. Monocultures do not endure or succeed for long.
  18. Huh. It's enough to make one stop believing in Eugenics.
  19. Sooo....you're hoping for the Bombers to take a Leake?
  20. Not sure if he is going to wow fans but still a helluva lot better than we're had for the past couple of seasons.
  21. Are you willing to bet the farm those cuts will be made?
  22. Soooo....the West Edmonton mall is not enough of an attractant?
