  1. A pointless effort by the Ilks.
  2. Could be a lot sooner than that but unless the Ilks get a decent QB, Moses could not lead this team to the promised land.
  3. Mitchell is saving himself for the playoffs.
  4. This game is as crushingly boring to watch as any other CFL game this year.
  5. New England Patriots Player Arrested At Boston Airport After Guns Found In Luggage: Police “We are in the process of gathering more information and will not be commenting further at this time," The Patriots said in a statement. EAST BOSTON, Mass. (AP) — A New England Patriots player was arrested Friday evening at a security checkpoint at Boston’s Logan Airport after two guns were found inside carry-on luggage, Massachusetts State Police said. Police said 25-year-old Jackie K. Jones of Arizona was arrested Friday evening, WCVB-TV reported. He had been planning to travel from Boston to Arizona, according to police. Police were called to the Transportation Security Administration security checkpoint in Terminal B at about 5:30 p.m. after two firearms were found in a traveler’s carry-on luggage. Police said they identified the person as Jones and arrested him. Jones is facing charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a large-capacity feeding device and possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, police said. He was booked at the State Police Logan Airport Barracks and had bail set at $50,000, police said.
  6. He ought to be an impact layer on special teams if nothing else. I remember him as a solid run defender.
  7. Full credit to Kolankowski. He had a hard apprenticeship last year with some iffy game performances, but this year in the two games so far, he has been solid. May never be an all-star but good to have him on the roster.
  8. "Better" does not necessarily mean "good".
  9. Neither one?

Fox guest: 'Somebody is going to have to pull a trigger' to stop Trump prosecutions Retired Major League Baseball pitcher-turned-right-wing commentator Curt Schilling told Fox News host Jesse Watters on Friday that "somebody is going to have to pull a trigger" in retaliation to the criminal charges that were filed against former President Donald Trump by United States Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith. "The problem is Jesse, you know, if you look at, you know, I love coming on this show. I love talking to you. I love what you've done, what you're doing with your voice, but the fact of the matter is, you know, I'm tired of listening to Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz and Dan Crenshaw and these people talk. Talk. Talk — that's all they're doing. They're talking," Schilling crowed on Jesse Watters Primetime. "We're up against a side and a force that doesn't play by the rules, refuses to play by the rules, just look no further than the unconstitutional thing going with former President Trump and we're not doing anything about it. We're talking about it, and we get excited and we get emotional. That's it," Schilling carped. "They break the law and they do the things they need to do to ensure their agenda is driven forward and we're watching them gut our nation from the inside out. And I don't know where the rubber is going to meet the road because it's a true sacrifice. mean, you look at the guys, the young men that signed the Constitution and all the things that they sacrificed everything to come out from under a tyrannical government, and then eventually at some point, there was a man at Concord who decided he was going to pull the trigger. And I feel like we're getting back to a point where somebody is going to have to pull a trigger because everything we hold dear, everything this country was founded on is being just dragged through the mud and mocked and made fun of. This country was founded on Godly principles. No matter how offensive that is to the left, it's true." Watters was momentarily taken aback. "Well, I'm going to assume you mean 'pull the trigger' metaphorically?" he asked. "Absolutely, well, no," Schilling replied.
  11. Cynicism favours the extremist parts of the political spectrum. Conscientious voters who follow the events will simply not vote if they believe their votes will not improve things, whereas the lunatic fringe will, if anything, double down on their support. I suspect that the Cons know this and try to foster apathy.
  12. Agreed. Augustine's forte is open field running and when he tries to deke or block, it becomes obvious why he is not the starting back.
  13. A bit ugly, but a win is a win. Back to school for the defensive backs, though.
  14. Augustine needs to be reminded that he ought to run north and south, not east and west
  15. Oliviera on the sidelines looks to be moving well.
  16. Haven't been a Clements fan but he has played well tonight.
  17. Darby has no future as a receiver.
  18. Holm having another good game. Can't say that about the Bomber D.
  19. Even a FG after a long drive would do it.
  20. Shades of Liegghio!
  21. Jeez---looked in to me.
  22. Gotta admit that the Rider defence looks way better than last year.
  23. When they are too obvious to ignore
