a week or two ago, somewhere out your way, one of the right wing freaks attacked a muslim woman on the train, and then murdered two people who tried to subdue him. There's a strong nazi, white supremacist movement in the pacific northwest. year or two one of freaks plotted to bomb a parade. a jury in Oregon aquitted those machine gun toting morons that took over the malheur wildlife reserve. There's a very good documentary, on youtube about a very small town in North Dakota, Leith, that was invaded by a white supremacist leader, planning to take over town council and make it a centre of that ****. They drove him out. legally.

If this guy was a quarterback.... the name would be good/excellent.

Does anyone know how many people, (not ratings, or position v other stations, but actual numbers of people) actually listen to 1290? I have no idea how to find that information.

I thought that TSN 1290 was going to have more Bomber coverage. It's still hockey most of the time. so boring. I did learn about the hockey franchise in Sandiego though. And some news about the Kansas City Chiefs. I wouldn't go to tsn 1290 if I was running the Bombers. The team would be buried under the hockey news. I know the members here have a strong dislike for roughriders team and fans but they have far more coverage of the team than we do. pretty sure there's two hours every day on Regina 620 radio. What would it cost the Bombers to have their own radio coverage? couple of hours a day. doesn't cost much to set up an FM transmitter. Or use the transmitter and studio from UMFM radio station. Then a network to other stations in Manitoba. They've already got Ed Tait, who has broadcast experience, he could contribute an hour a day. Get Noeller to run it.

could only watch that chopfest for five minutes. I know a bunch of people think its the peak of exciting. to me, it's not. To be perfectly honest with you, I predicted that the Penguins would win, but out of modesty I refrained from thus posting. I now prognosticate that the Penguins will win this series. Sheer determination, and pissed offness. But with all the hurt players, I forecast that the Penguins will not beat the winner of the ducks or the predators.
