We can go two directions this offseason. A partial rebuild or a full tear down. There is a big difference. The full rebuild depends on management/coaching change imo.

Sorry you are butt hurt that someone doesn't believe completely unsubstantiated rumors from an anonymous internet poster. I believe someone putting their actual name to something, and citing their sources, 100000x more than a guy who claims to have inside access but is wrong more often than he is right when he cites it. You have not given me, or any other person here, any reason to believe you with anything more than a "trust me bro". You might have these amazing connections to the team you brag about, but you just as easily might be full of ****. Both are likely, with based on the history of team forums, the latter being 100x more likely. You are an anonymous person on a fan forum claiming to have inside the locker room knowledge. If you think that I am alone on my skepticism over your claims you are mistaken. I am just a member willing to put my skepticism out there. Don't take it personal, it's just that you have provided nothing to back up your insider knowledge claims therefore we have to go off your accuracy level when citing it and it isn't great.

Nope, my name's not Booch. It was discussed on Winnipeg Sports Talk by Andrew Paterson a couple weeks ago or so. He qualified it as something that he never heard directly from anyone in the organization but was making it's rounds amongst the media. Apparently he showed up to camp out of shape, and then wasn't happy about his playing time and let everyone know about it.  Don't have a date or a time, but it's on one of their podcasts if you care to dig deeper.

Jonathan Jones sucked when we did play him and was reportedly no better in the dressing room. I get you wanna defend him because you really built him up as our next Bighill...but the reality is he was a swing and a miss by Walters not MOS.
We got enuff reasons to not shed a tear if MOS leaves but JJ isn't one of them. Our biggest mistake was keeping him around too long when he became a cancer

No. I don't think we were a serious contender no matter what we do with our roster. I thought that my opinion on this was pretty clear

Next year likely sees a shake up in management/scouting and coordinators.
Collaros will be back but Elgersma and another QB will be in town. New GM will have carte Blanche to tear down this abysmal roster and will be aggressive in FA.
Probably seen the last of many vets.
We haven't brought in much for IMPs since Rigmaiden left and the new scouts were not good either

I gave the benefit of the doubt but it is very clear what needs to be done. Everyone owns this fiasco and should be embarrassed. 
I can only hope for some kind of 2nd half miracle that makes me eat crow for this post. Doubt it.

Yea..those defences were fierce

T.Jones performed better than expected this year and didn't hurt us one bit. That being said, I'd love to get the next Adam Bighill.
Lobendahn's demise was injury related. He was a beast when fully healthy.
That can be said for about 90% of all MIKEs that have ever played in the CFL. We were spoiled with Biggie's ability to drop into coverage. That is not the norm.

The only new guys I've seen play that are worth a snot are Bailey, and Jenkins. The other guys are not any better than the guys ahead of them. Jenkins is brand new, so Bailey is really the only guy we can question legitimately as to why he never got playing time. Woods and Woodby have been good but not great. Who else you got?
You say guys came in and made a difference but there are just as many that didn't. Dillon Mitchell, J. Jones, and others played their way off the team lickety split so we can't say that new guys being held back was our problem. It wasn't. Fact of the matter is that Walters whiffed badly this offseason. Very badly and if we are relying on rookies to come in and be all stars then we are in really bad shape because that just won't happen consistently for any team. Glad we got a couple guys that look like keepers but it is nonsense to suggest that the talent was there. It wasn't and isn't.
I don't mind the criticism of MOS, but it is comical how people are hating so much that a GM who really screwed the pooch is getting benefit of the doubt because of this hate. The players underperformed , the GM underperformed, and the coaching underperformed....and here we are. I think that is probably the fairest assessment I've seen on this forum this year. The players didn't underperform because of MOS, the GM didn't underperform because of MOS, and MOS/coordinators didn't underperform because of the GM/players either. They all have to own their roles in this **** show.  Pinning it all on MOS is really glossing over other deficiencies that we really need fixed.

Don't get me wrong, it's pretty sad sack when it comes to venues but you gotta let the East have them too because they (whether we like it or not) are our league's only hope of survival.

If he were some kid fresh out of the NCAA, maybe one would have to wonder if maybe he just had one of those games where everything went right and that he might not be able to sustain. However, he isn't. This is a kid with NFL pedigree, that showed an amazing ability to quickly adapt to the yard off the ball. He is legit talent and showed it. That is why I think it's a no-brainer he at least gets the nod over Person. He had probably the 2nd best performance of any DE we've had this season.
we've had other rookies the past couple years show some ability at DE but were also non factors for much of and many of the games. This kid not only got home with sacks, but noticeably disrupted on most of his reps. Legit.
