Has anyone considered that maybe J.Jones just didn't look good in our scheme or maybe he didnt get it, or maybe he half arsed it all year. What he did in Toronto is not relevant if he wasn't that player when he came here. I'm fairly certain we signed him to be that guy but sometimes a change of scenery can be bad for a player. We don't know Jack **** about why he wasn't playing other than the usual assumptions around here. I do know he played here and did not look good granted it was only one game, but the fact remains.

I think Wilson is better than both. I'm not arguing that Strev sucks as a starter, not at all, but suggesting that Walters had good competition for QB at camp is laughable.

Ridiculous argument. Dolegala and Patterson is your Walters get out of jail free card. Good lord. You are really reaching here. Cut them? You bet your ass he cut them, and so would any other non-desperate HC in this league. Dolegala and Patterson are just like your bois Fox and Garbutt.....ham and eggers. Maybe we should look back on your comments about these two guys and how you thought Streveler was our future and then laugh even more at this assessment. Calling Dolegala and Patterson winners is an absolute knee slapper. Patterson can barely throw, he has a noodle arm and Dolegala has a rocket but can't read a defence. No coach in their right mind would have kept them even if they were up against WIlson/Streveler. 

I agree. Most of it is on Walters for not providing any kind of acceptable level of backup QB, but MOS needs to get a guy out of the game that doesn't complete his second pass until the 4th Q. At some point yesterday he needed to make the change. 

Yesterday, we threw the ball a total of 8 times, we had 3 completions (one of which was a forward 5 inch toss to Dillon Mitchell) and an interception. Why? Two reasons. Our OC sucks, and our QB doesn't threaten any defence with his arm. Ottawa took the only throws Strev can consistently make away (and very simply I might add) because he cannot throw anything outside the hashmarks, to the intermediate and deep zones with any form of consistency. He is an awful passer.  There is not getting around that, he should not be a QB in the CFL anymore. He is a gadget player and that's fine if he could successfully do that still but he can't. If we sign him again that GM should immediately lose his job. 
For those wondering if WIlson can do better? Yes, he can. Two reasons. The First is he couldn't do worse. The second he is an actual QB whose arm you have to respect because he can make every throw on the field. Streveler can't, and never could, but we were able to successfully use him in the past because the D always had to respect his play action.  Now they just run blitz him and he is screwed.

Osh does have a history of doing that. However, in this case I think it was the right decision to play him and it turned out badly. How it goes sometimes in pro sports. A player like Schoen is a difference maker when he is in the lineup. If the AT says he's good, player says he's good, practice says he's good, then you play him and that's what we did. He put in a full practice the week before he played and they tested him on all routes to see. He must have looked good. His stat line in the game looked good as well and he made some nice plays prior to OT.

This was my only point... There's enough to complain about without becoming total lunatics. 

I don't disagree that playing him was risky. However, he had a pretty decent stat line in that game and made some real clutch plays. Until the OT throw he was playing very well. Unfortunate he got hurt because it was one of his best games of the season and certainly miles better than anything Dillon Mitchell has done all year. He certainly didn't hamper, and only enhanced our ability to compete that game.  As a general rule I don't like rolling out guys that are injured, but we certainly don't know how he looked in practice, and that would have been a huge factor in the decision. Hindsight is 20/20. If he wasn't good enough to go I have every faith that Couture would have shut him down. If he didn't look ready to go I don't think MOS would have played him and he certainly looked good that entire game. It is unfortunate he reinjured himself but that was the direction the player chose to take, and he looked ready to perform. He wasn't gimpy by any stretch of the imagination. 

Partially torn is a torn ACL and is how it is commonly reported as simply a torn ACL. Did any of them say completely torn? Same thing. What was reported was that he had a torn ACL. Severity of the tear was not reported. What I do know is that you cannot rehab a torn ACL. It's impossible and Schoen was trying to rehab his after consulting with Couture about his options. Torn ACL has no options, it's surgery. So while I have nothing saying it was partially torn, you guys cannot point me to one single shred of evidence saying completely torn. Therefore, I will assume partially torn which you can rehab, and that our 23 year lead athletic therapist and one of the most respected athletic therapists in Canada knew his ****. You guys are literally accusing him of malpractice.
