  1. Something interesting to note... We have the second highest point differential in the league (+101) behind Calgary (+160) we have the highest scoring team in the league by far (466) which equals out to 31 points per game. One last thing to note. We’ve allowed 8 less points then the vaunted Saskatchewan Rough Rider defense. We’ve allowed 365 points while they’ve allowed 373. For the people who are so doom and gloom amongst a three game winning streak, take a second and look around the league. We had our mid season problems but I think we’re doing just fine, if anything we faced our adversity and we’re winnining when it counts.
  2. He’s a me guy not a team guy. Doesn’t understand why he hasn’t played since his concussion.. well Johnny.. they’ve won two in a row without you. Just another entitled guy who isn’t willing to put in the work or pay his dues.
  3. The voice of reason! We’re 28-18 in the past two seasons plus this season and we’re acting like the sky is falling. Good teams go through adversity. Remember Ottawa and Toronto getting hot when it counted and winning the Grey Cup? I do. It’s ok to have high expectations and wanting to be better but I wouldn’t panic just yet.
  4. I don’t know what’s worse. The INT or the decision to throw in the flats down by 14 with just over a minute left..
  5. And yet he still had nearly 400 yards passing. Let’s not blame penalties for the fact that we were softer than baby **** on second down all night.
  6. The real reason we lost was we had Ottawa second and long ALL night and Harris found the sweet spot in our zone every single time. I’ve never seen a team complete so many second and longs. This is 100 percent entirely scheme and even with the best MLB in the league and loads of talent on the defensive side we will struggle defensively all season unless there’s a change at the DC position.
  7. Don’t be that guy.. on one leg Nichols completed 72 percent of his passes, for 371 yards and 3 td’s and zero INT, also Nichols had 390 yards passing, 2 tds and completed 65 percent of his passes, and zero INT back in the 2016 WSF against BC. Kevin Glenn WISHES he was ever as clutch when it mattered as Nichols. How can you blame those loses on Nichols when our defence was historically bad when it mattered?
  8. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Nichols is proof of that. He’s earned the opportunity to get the benefit of the doubt, and he should have the fan base on his side.
  9. Matt Nichols is the best QB we’ve had since Khari Jones and we had our two best seasons in nearly 20 years with him under the helm. Obviously he must be hurt right now and he needs to play better but my god. Fickle fans. After all the junk we’ve had at the QB position over the years I’m not ready to write him off just yet, however yes he needs to be better.
  10. 2013 Bombers were more or less on the same level. Terrible team top to bottom. Over the hill vets, no good young talent, QB carasol.. So glad we have an organization worth being proud of
  11. It’s not an excuse at all. But what I mean is they clearly like football they just see the CFL as inferior which is crazy because these are the same guys watching college football on a Saturday afternoon.
  12. Worked a job with a few guys from Toronto. Huge sports guys, big NFL fans too but could not give one care about the Toronto Argonauts. Just the mindset of the every day person from Toronto. MLS has leap frogged the CFL in these cities and it isn’t even close.
  13. People grow up. He probably thought he was invincible. But being out of the NFL in a hurry humbled him up. I think he’ll do some good things in Montreal. Only downside is going to a complete tire fire organization.
  14. Lulay is a smart QB who can read a defense. He’ll find the open guy. I expect him to give us more problems then Jennings but that being said I think we’ll still take this one. Our offence is just that good and we should get enough help on both sides of the line to give us that edge.
  15. Nichols always carves up B.C this is good news. The bad news is Jennings always torches our defense too.
  16. Weird example when the Maple Leafs argueably made the biggest Free Agent signing in NHL history to acquire John Tavares..
  17. It must be the height because with his athletic ability, speed, and overall throwing ability it’s amazing he didn’t get a serious look down south. Small college or not.
  18. That deep ball he threw was almost perfect. We’re in good hands with our young athletic quarterbacks.
  19. Remember when you said Willy would throw for 500 yards?
  20. Weston Dressler leads our team in receiving after two games.. weird thread.
  21. What makes him different then most mobile QB’s is that he’s always looking for a receiver down field and that he can run if the play breaks down and he has space. Think Mike Reilly, instead of looking to run once his first read is gone. Think Justin Goltz. I think he’s going to be a future star in life this league. His composure in the pocket for such a green rookie is impressive.
  22. Very 2013 Bombers esq but somehow even worse. At least our defense gave an honest effort in 2013..
