The DW trade essentially costed Milanovich and Barker their job. It's telling that Trestman released DW considering their number one option is an old and broken Ricky Ray.

I think we're fine. We just cut Stafford. We're at a competitive salary cap for sure but if the bombers were really that tight they would of traded down from the first overall pick.

I like Hurl as depth and ST but obviously he's one of coach O'sheas guys. We brought in competition to push him but I think O'shea more or less had him pencilled in from the start.

Vince Young is waived.

I don't know how they justify keeping an old injured, out of shape Vince Young over Bennett.

Overall this is our deepest team we've had in years and probably the best depth we've had at NI. For that I'll give Walters a lot of credit he's built a good fundamental team.

The chemistry of Denmark and Nichols is undeniable. He's going to have a big season this year if he stays healthy. Getting rid of our potential best overall reciever would be a mistake.

It looks like rider fans are giving up on the season already. I just want to see Durant beat them in the first game, and see us pull out a W in their own back yard and then see their entire fan base implode.

He was outstanding with the Argos and he's Canadian which lets us have more flexibility. Not singing Okpaluago means we probably start an American at DE which means we're likely starting Hurl at MLB regardless.

O'shea has his faults. His blind loyalty to medicore vets is the biggest. Especially on the defensive side of things.

We had our best record in 15 years and people still try to down play Nichols and the QB play. I think he's going to surprise a lot of people this year with his play, especially the chemistry he has with Denmark, Adams, and Dressler.

Also.. This is the best set of Quarterbacks the Bombers have had in years. I feel super comfortable going into the season with Nichols, Davis, and the fever.

The good news is we haven't lost a game this entire pre season! The bad news is..

Drouins a special talent. Good trade for Montreal however they still don't have a number center, and they just lost their best defensive prospect so it seems like a lateral move at the moment.

I remember I was at the game where Elliot threw over 400 yards and then won player of the week and everyone thought he was the next great QB. All I saw was a weak arm that took forever to get to the receiver, fortunately for one or two games only our receiving core came down with the ball. They really bailed him out. Under no circumstances was Elliot ever a good or productive QB.
