There's several rider fans who are convinced that Saskatchewan is going to win their next three games in a row against, Hamilton, Edmonton, and Winnipeg. I've never seen a more delusional fan base. 1-6 but Chris Jones and company can do no wrong!

Do we win the Last ever LDC at Mosaic?

And that was the last time Drew Willy played great football. -
Do we win the Last ever LDC at Mosaic?
Arnold_Palmer replied to Wanna-B-Fanboy's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Beating the Riders in Regina for the LDC classic would go a long way to the psyche of this football team. Going back to Winnipeg for the Banjo bowl with a winning record would only be the second time since 2007. Yikes! -

What ever happened to Offensive, Defensive, ST, and Canadian player of the week? Now it's just top three regardless of position? -
Another week, another controversy. This 100 percent reminds me of Mike Kelly in 2009. Looks good on the Riders.

general trade thread to spit ball ideas

I hate to break it to you, but Staal really isn't that good. His cap hit is terrible. Fleury is a nice prospect but still a prospect non the less. We don't need another centre, and we need a LHD that can play now, especially if we get rid of Myers because i don't think we have a defenseman on our roster that could play the number 4 spot right now. -

I'm sorry but this simply isn't true. Fleury is a nice prospect, but completely un proven. Myers is a great number 3 guy on a decent contract. I would only move him for another polished and proven defender. There's also 7 years left on Staal's deal, I dont want a 40 point centre making 6 million for the next seven years, and losing Petan and Lowry seems pointless. -

This is absolutely ridiculous. Staal's cap hit is 6 milion so no thanks. Id rather keep Little as our second line centre. He'll produce more with a cheaper cost. Fleury is a nice prospect but I wouldn't part with him for Myers straight up, never mind moving Petan and Lowry. Stafford could play up and down the second and third line for now. He doesn't really fit on our team but he's easily moveable at the trade deadline for a draft pick. -

That's why I don't mind gambling on Mulumba. There was no sure fire CFL star coming to us at second overall.
-
Meh the whole 2013 draft was under whelming. Andy Mulumba is still the most talented player from that draft and IF he ever makes it up north it will be well worth the wait. Not holding my breath though.

This simply isn't true.

4-4 and going into the bye week with a .500 record and a three game winning streak would be sweet

http://www.tsn.ca/reports-popp-makes-inappropriate-comments-to-als-players-1.543569 Who are the leaders on this Al's team? You have Popp going crazy, and you have your best player wont keep his mouth shut. Second most dysfunctional team in the league besides you know who -

This would be a good opportunity to make an example of the Riders. Bending the rules sure, but full out abusing it is unacceptable. Hoping the CFL has some balls, a slap on the wrist wouldn't be a lesson learned. -

2016 Saskatchewan Rough Riders are reminding me a lot of the 2009 Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Arrogant head coach, constant revolving door in players, and a new controversy every week. At least Mike Kelly's 09 squad won 7 games. I don't see the Riders winning that many -
I think this is Connor Hellebuyck's break out season. as a 22 year old rookie he posted a 9.18 save percentage in 26 games with the Jets. Hopefully he's ready this year to take the reigns. If Pavelec is our starting goalie this season we're in big trouble.

With the poor Quarterback play we've had over the past two decades I thought we as fans would understand how important the QB position is and how having stability at the position is important to compete in this league. Nichols has been a nice surprise. I like Nichols. Can he stay healthy for 18 games? Can he keep up his play? The jury is still out. I also don't think Willy is done in this league, how ever he may not be that franchise quarterback we envisioned. I wouldn't make any decisions on Willy until the off season. Too many unknown's going forward, quite frankly it would be foolish to let Willy go at this point and time.

Great player, but complete tool on the field..

This is a bombe Forum. It's no different on the rider board. It's all in good fun. Lighten up! -
Agreed. Not this year anyways. Matt Nichols has been a nice surprise, but it's a long season and we need stability if Nichols goes down, or falters.

Classic Saskatchewan fans. Souring on Demski when he is literally the LEAST of their problems. The kid has a lot of talent. He should get some reps at Running Back his natural position. God know's the Riders have zero running game right now. -
Do you know what the red zone is? They actually went 4/4 in the end zone including 3 touchdowns, and one field goal. Please stop this non sense of "leaving points" off the board. They were a hundred percent in the red zone with a 75 percent touchdown rate. Doesn't get much more efficient then that.

Please read the following bolded. I agreed I wish the play calling in the second half was more aggressive. Yes no game is over in the CFL but Winnipeg never had to worry about Hamilton coming back. Point is Nichols took advantage of his opportunities in the first half when the game was ON THE LINE.
