  2. My guess is harris gets another shot at a starting job. Or a 200 k plus incentives back up spot. Unless hes got something really good going on outside of football I doubt he retires
  3. I was partying with him at the viper room a few years ago, and I asked him; hey is their any time you wish you were just a regular guy? Instant **** no. Bet hed change that answer now
  4. Please dont put the classy mr sanders in the same conversation as nasty nate. How about the quarterback guy? SamCanadian I think it was. LOL. He was just waiting to get called up. A lot of personalities have come and gone... I too am an "expert" bomber fan to my loved ones all from second hand info from the main posters on this site. 17to85, Noeller, speedflex, booch. Many more. Thanks guys. Good discussion and debate
  5. Hootie, I think was his handle. Super knowledgeable and chimed in quite a bit on ob.com
  6. This is my story as well, turn 29 in January. Was on ourbombers as a literal teenager. Love this community. Cheers to another bb gc
  7. Robert bean and his wife posted on ourbombers too
  8. Cant see Harris or Adams retiring... if there is a buck to be made playing pro football. Why not make it? This isnt the nfl where guys can ride off with millions in their pockets
  9. Is their a potential free agent list that could be put together so we could discuss? Im not sure how to find that info...aside from searching every player individually
  10. Agree... a lot of the same faces..I grew up on that site. I was also saying to a friend pre grey cup that I think the bombers have a good shot at a 3 peat. Cant see a lot of personnel wanting to leave this situation
  11. Woooooo!!!!! ******* eh !!!! Thank god walters signed a kicker
  12. Me too, actually lol. Obligations...
  13. Imagine being a die hard bomber fan and having to work the gc Horrible feeling
  14. Read about 4 pages of that thread.. saw Spuds name, and wondered what happened to that poster?? Also, that thread is hilarious
  15. 100% youre right. There are many that cant be swayed and that is just ignorance. Those are the same people that cannot be swayed on anything and are SO self indulged that there is no point having dialogue with them However, I believe there is still a good number of reasonable people sitting on the fence who would be worth speaking too. When we see people getting called down and **** on because of their beliefs, or the misinformation theyve been given we only create more animosity. I understand people are fed up and tired of trying to turn these people. But like we believe we need to get the vaccine for the good of society, we need to take the same approach with those lingering no matter how pain staking it may be. It goes along way when people feel like you actually hear their concerns
  16. Definitely. But that would be on a grand scale. When you have the right wing mob and trumpers forcing these anti vax thoughts down your throat, that's the result you get. One of the many problems with that is that thoughts with merit are drowned out in the wash because of these yahoos. The video I had posted here is good for a healthy discussion because it is evident the man is speaking from a place of worry and compassion. Some of what he says holds ground. We cant have that conversation because you have morons saying that this is nazi germany and it takes away any credibility from those actually trying to have an honest facts based discussion. Luckily I did have this conversation, because the main point I took out of his video was that he was skeptical of a mandate on kids being vaccinated. Tracker had said that their is no evidence to support his theory. But that is a conversation I think is worthy of more dialogue
  17. No, I really did and do believe that the doctor had some merit and was speaking out in what he believes to be the right thing to do. Not with malicious or an evil agenda, not to tell people they are going to have a microchip planted in them. That being said; what I have taken out of this thread is that although his intentions and qualifications are there, that doesnt make him right. A reasonable person will welcome dialogue to mold their point of view. Weigh the information theyve gotten from both sides and make a choice. It is my belief that the vaccination is the BEST choice, although not ideal. Thanks to all for the information provided
  18. Turns out, with some simple dialogue you can sway the opinions of others! Imagine. Ww2 started in 39 right?
  19. Lol, I had written that out based on how hypocritcal it was to trust one mans word but not the other. I realized ive got a losing battle here so I let it go. So what happens if omicron is not covered by our vaccine? What steps do we take then? Start back at square one?
  20. Nobody here is saying that? We havent even discussed the vaccine passports.
  21. Thanks. I will take you at your word on that.
  22. Did you watch the man speak? His biggest concern is mandating kids to get the vaccine. His view is their is evidence to suggest that this vaccine could be harmful to a childs heart. He could be right, he could be wrong. He is still practicing. I guess I am of the view that both sides of the coin should be discussed. Its interesting because in any other topic that would be an acceptable view. With something as important as what youre putting into your body I would figure people would want to have a discussion about it Thank you to the posters above for the links-- they are helpful
  23. Who thinks that??? I think a lot of "anti" vaxxers concerns are that their hasnt been a health of a lot of time producing this thing. Correct me if im wrong but dont most vaccines take 3 + years to be rolled out properly?
  24. Sure, I understand that. The effectiveness comes into question about 4 months in. Were having trouble getting people vaccinated now, wait until you need to get 5 or 6 jabs a year. I was referring to him saying that just the unvaccinated transmis the disease. The ironic thing is, I dont think anyone here discussing this isnt vaccinated. At this point were just having a conversation lol
  25. Well you cant deny that hes a practicing doctor who was, in his heart, looking out for the best interests of his patients. My grandpa died of cancer last year. I did not enjoy not being able to see him until he was in palliative. I hear you. To me it is concerning that people are so fired up, to the point of taking personal shots, and attacking other people for even trying to have a respectful conversation.
