I don't think it is in my opinion. Give him 150 and call it square. In this situation in particular we have to actually watch his play drop off before deciding to move forward.

Any chance Andrew could be even a slight bit butt hurt about not being valued by the club, and in some regards the fans the same as he was in years past? I think it's a long shot but I wouldn't totally rule out him signing else where for one last pay day. I could see a team taking a chance on a one year worth 170-200 k. Good marketability and Canadian game breaker. Winnipeg would not entertain that anymore imo He was top notch when he was playing. One year with injuries doesn't mean that's going to repeat.

If I'm Lawler im not too sure it's a great business decision to move to bc. Hes going to share the ball a lot. With a qb who may or may not cut the mustard. Behind a below average o line. Making the extra 50 k now may end up costing you hundreds down the line

Hopefully the bomber brass can find another talent... Lawler at 250 is too much but imo the guy is an elite nfl level talent and it really hurts to lose him. Full package player

Yeah Bray is an off the board pick to be sure. I like him. Quick feet, fast, dependable hands, runs good routes. Probably doesn't deserve to be in contention as a top 5 or even top 10 guy but I'm not crazy about Williams either. As far as Walker goes, a year ago, many on this board would have considered Walker as a top 5 talent. Tough team in Edmonton I think half a spectacular season for Whitehead isn't enough to make him a true top pass catching commodity. Good, dynamic player but I'm in the wait and see camp still

I'm not even convinced Duke is a top 5 guy, although he did perform well with the Riders so I could be out to lunch on this. Id put Lewis as the #1 guy in the league, followed by Burnham,Begeleton, Lawler, Walker ( if he decides he's interested in actually trying again), drug smuggler Quan Bray. The rest is a crap shoot.
