  1. Has Allen been coaching somewhere? And I'm not sure AC has been looked over, he will move up eventually, but he has what, 2 yrs coaching in the CFL now?
  2. Dunk thought Harris leaving wpg was gonna be huge and the bombers would take a step back. Thought CGY would wi the west. Hodge speculated back in 2019 that collaros would sign elsewhere. Etc etc. These guys are just guessing. Here's my guess....when/if Walters leaves, the Bombers will replace him with Huff....there see.....anyone can say random ****.
  3. I dont know. They've certainly showed it (that weird make shift town thing in seattle) but not at the same rate.
  4. Danny Austin is claiming the league doesn't care about CGY....because...their labour day game starts at 5pm. AND Hamilton doesn't come to CGY...I wish I was kidding. What an absolute joke. Know who doesn't care about CGY? ******* CGY
  5. He may get on to the roster this week depending on how badly hurt Mike White is.
  6. This is easy to say for people who aren't related to her. If it was my wife/daughter/mother etc etc I'd be pressing everyone to get them home by any means necessary. People may not like the trade, but at the end of the day it was the right thing to do.
  7. I don't think it can even be properly argued. The far right is and has been more of a threat for a while. As has been posted, thats according to people far more qualified than I. The left certainly have some nuts, but they usually stick to absolutely horrible policy/law/regulations type of stuff. A lot less violence from the left compared to the Right. People often point to "Antifa" as a left wing terrorist group. But as far as I know, there has been zero evidence that they are actually a organization on the level of say...the proud boys (lol). You can type out a personal story all you want. 1 anecdotal situation proves absolutely nothing. Boomers are the majority of voters right now and have been for decades. Look at our society/our leaders. That's just one example. The world is in the position it's in (both good and bad) largely because of the boomer generation. As for your story...you're missing the point. Yeah millennials etc. have their far share of nut bags...but who raised those nut bags?
  8. This isn't the burn you think it is. It speaks more to the lack of proper parenting by YOUR generation than anything else. Though I will say I think Boomers get way more worked from rage farms than any other generation.
  9. I'm sure the HC/GM issue plays a role at least a bit. Not in the sense that they may be gone next year...but in the sense that they just aren't very good. Add the other factors of the worst Oline in the history of the CFL and no QB or even QB prospect, questions at multiple WR positions and it makes sense that most guys want to stay away (for now).
  10. It's important to remember, especially at your age that a good amount of the things that Canadians use is all due to socialism. All the safety nets All the emergency services Highways Medical care (most anyway) School Etc etc etc All from the big bad boogeyman SOCIALISM
  11. I'm excited to see what Heiligh can do in the CFL. Guy seems to have the right tools
  12. I fully expect Walters to walk away one day. It 100% will not be in the middle of one of the most successful runs the CFL has ever seen. The media can try to make a story out of it if they want....click bait articles don't write themselves.
  13. It's more or less saying they don't have the room to re-up right NOW. They'll get it done next year.
  14. On the evidence - I suppose. But it doesn't take a genius to understand that less tax = more spending money. I agree that I'm not sure it would be a huge relief. The VAST majority of the inflation is coming from straight up greed.
  15. I absolutely dislike that woman. But I agree. I'm not sure she's blaming inflation on that (alone anyway). Sorry but what evidence would be needed? Honestly, what would you want to see? Yeah I've heard this before and I don't get it. I think after the mess of the PCs. NDP could elect an actual groundhog and they'd hold power for a while.
  16. One of my issues with the government/Health experts throughout this thing has been the messaging around what they're doing and why. It's been a master class of how to **** it all up basically. Started with the "2 weeks" to flatten the curve. Moved on to masking and then eventually the vaccine. I believe part of the reasoning for what could be seen as flat out lies (stops transmission) comes from a misunderstanding of how the world works today among other things. When it came to the 2 weeks to flatten the curve. I STILL hear people use that phrase as if it meant - 2 weeks of obedience = pandemic over. Anyone who thought that was possible in the age of flight is flat out idiot....full stop.... And anecdotally, the people I know personally who still go one about that are some of the, for lack of a better term, dumbest people I know. And I mean that in a didn't do well in high school at all type of way. When it comes to things like stopping transmission. I actually agree with you. It was 100% said by people who should have known better. And it's my belief they did say things like that to convince people to get it. Knowing that if they said it doesn't stop transmission(like most vaccines), or we don't know...that there would be major push back and the vaccine may not be relevant in the fight at all. Was it right for them to do that? no. Where ever the message got mixed up, those people should have known better, the internet has changed everything including how fast information flows. It was only a matter of time before it became public knowledge. Hindsight is always 20/20 and looking back, it's a mistake that imo should cost people their lively hoods. Was greed involved 100%...they're humans like the rest of us and lost of money was on the table. Judge them for that if you want, but we all have a price. You can sit there and say you don't. But you're wrong. Was it human error, absolutely. If you've ever worked for someone, regardless of how small the company, you should understand how 1 persons can really **** up a lot of things. The bigger the company the more often that happens. When it's a global organization...there was bound to be some major major major mistakes. We aren't good enough for there not to be. When it comes to myocarditis and other side effects of the vaccine. I honestly don't know what people were expecting. The flames were DEFINETLY fanned by the grifters (still are) claiming that myocarditis in young people is 1) new, which is a flat out lie and 2) a serious condition in most cases, again a flat out lie. But what I don't understand is this belief that there would be some magical cure (or IS some magical cure) with no side effects. There isn't a single medication on this planet that is safe for everyone to take. Not one. Nothing. Zip, nadda. That's not the way the universe seems to work. The vast majority of my personal and professional circle has gotten the vaccine. Many people are on 4 or 5 shots now. I don't know a single person who has had a serious side effect occur. Not one. That cirlce includes, elderly, middle age, teen agers, young children, pregnant women etc etc etc. The vaccine has side effects. In some people, they can be severe. Does that mean it shouldn't be used? No. Not at all. To believe that is flat out ignorance of how the world works and how the human body works. It slows transmission, slows serious illness and gave us a chance to help out the failing systems the world over. IT WAS NOT PERFECT. That's ok nothing is or ever will be. The grifters still talking about what will happen in ten years etc etc are doing so because they found their honey pot. Even if you're not giving them money directly, you are supporting them financially. Again, the internet has changed a lot of things. How people make money is certainly one of them. The people claiming they know how the RNA vaccines work because they helped invent them is very similar to someone who used to build cars in the 80's claiming they know how to work on a car built in 2022. They'll have a very basic understanding sure...but the devil is in the details. And they unless they've been brought up to date, they don't know ****. Anyway...that's my ramblings and thoughts on the matter.
