That was 100% spearing. The crown of the helmet can never be the first point of contact. Especially against a player in a vulnerable position such as throwing the ball. The fact the command centre didnt step pissed me off. I'm genuinely confused by how that thing works. Will magically step in to call no end penalties or offside....but ignore a play that takes down someone who is (supposed to be anyways) one of the leagues stars?? It doesn't make sense

Yeah not ever Rec can see 15 passes a game. Agudosi made some plays, but missed on some too. Guys like Scheon/Lawler etc didn't miss when they were new to the league. That's why they're still playing. I was hyped for Agudosi when he got that starting spot too. But he did nothing with it.

He started a few games last year. He had an opportunity, who knows why it didn't work

I'd be blown away to see either one of those guys leave before next year. This team doesn't need to be blown up. They're likely sitting at 2-2 if not for injuries. I'm not saying things will be fine this year. Just thatnthis regime will be in place until well into 2025. Wade wants a home GC win and doing it with the mafia.

Not a huge fan of the Lucky signing. But all things considered, maybe it pans out. I'd like to see Smith get some offensive touches.

AL have 12 wins in their last 12 games. That doesn't happen by accident. Maas has figured out how to make Fajardo a real CFL qb and who woulda thought it starts with the Oline? Their Defense is good enough to keep them in any game even with Fajardo playing poorly. Special teams get them out of some holes. They're looking solid right now. But no one wins a grey cup in July.

I'd focus the question on Eli rather than Kolo. Eli has been with the team for a while now, he comes with a great pedigree. Is often a highly ranked OL according to trackers. The team has struggled along the interior of the line this season for many reasons, do you envision a time when there might be a switch from who has started this year? If yes, what would it take to make that switch and if no, what would you need to see from the OL to feel like it is time to switch?

Lofton struggled early, but I thought last game he played well. I'm 100% ready for Holm to be a CFL safety. That spot doesn't have to be the heavy hitting guy it used to be, in todays game. Alexander just doesn't seem to have the speed to play any other way now unfortunately.

I mean....that's basically how Lawler started and Schoen as well. 2021 was all Ellingson early on. Schoen only got going after Ellingson got hurt.

He's absolutely playing the best football of his life right now. He's probably the best qb in the league as of week 3. VA a close second.

Bridges sure...but that's what happens with White. He's going to draw coverage. we'll see how that rec core plays out over time. BC is still leaning on their vets more than anything else. CGY as well. Wheatfall looked like the real deal. Expecting more than 1 wr rookie to stand out is asking too much imo. Would be nice, but it would 100% be the exception and not a rule.
