If you're looking at it like you HAVE to replace an Allstar NAT, sure you don't let him walk. But I don't see the need to replace an allstar nat at that specific position. The cost compared to a replacement vs the realistic production just doesn't make sense imo. Spending a lot of cap space on a position like that would be a huge mistake. specifically because finding a field side corner has never really been an issue with this management. I don't expect it to start being one now. Keeping in mind that if he never started a single game last year our ratio remains fine...I just don't see the need unless his $$ makes sense.

generally i'd agree. But I think the 1 position you can let them walk is CB. Especially Field side. He's not at all irreplaceable as an athlete and without him in the lineup even last year our ratio is just fine.

Keep in mind after his 2nd season he was injured. That may have played a role.

Schoen doesn't have the quickness like those guys. He's close, but in that environment close isnt good enough. I'm not saying he wouldn't succeed in the NFL, I'm just saying i understand why he isn't in the NFL.

Schoen had plenty of opportunity down south. Some guys just don't fit. He's not a NFL wr. That's not to say he's a bad WR just that he doesn't have what NFL teams look for when it comes to that position. He's been unbelievable in the CFL partly due to his use of the waggle. Wilson does to a certain extent. But I'm willing to bet we see him in 2025 in Blue and Gold.

Darvin you're right....the others are kinda muddy a bit. They offered them $$, but the players wanted something else/more. So I don't know how you file that away...under moving on....or under something else. But if the players had still wanted to be here Harris and Jeffcoat anyway, would have been. But yeah I do generally agree. I think they've done a decent job from bringing in younger guys. They just need to work on replacing a few more/giving young guys a shot. With Thomas...I truly think the loss of Lawson played a big role in him getting the playing time he did. I don't think Thomas will be back next season, but I've been saying that since 2019. soooooo

Sure...but it does happen to lets say trainers or even just friends in the city...who have other clients/friends who also like the bombers and they get chatting and things are talked about. I know this from personal experience.

If I'm being honest...I don't think they do. And I'm ok with it. That position is easily replaced with a cheaper american. It would be nice to have him, but I don't think he's a guy who can make or break your defense.

See and that's my biggest issue with how the GC game played out. The game plans for the games against the argos weren't good during the season. And they seemed to think 3rd times the charm in the GC.

I get that he's CND and that will boost his value. But He's tremendously overrated imo. I'm glad they've paid him that much but I will be very surprised if BC feels like they get full value out of that. He's collecting on a half of a season of tremendous play, much like Rourke.
