except there were plenty of plays were glen had a 3 step drop and the ball was gone. No chance at pressure at all. 3 seconds is totally doable. We just weren't doing it. For what ever reasons. I was super pissed after the game. Due mostly to that last play call. I just think a PI call on a jump ball is a very likely thing to happen in the CFL and they went for a play that works once in a lifetime. bah...anyway. I didn't think the Offence looked ready to go, with the exception of Harris. Much like TO on thursday, our O just wasn't ready to play. I'm sure losing dressler that early didn't help with the game plan but why they didn't lean on Harris in the 1st half??????? I'll never understand. The Oline played decently...Willy couldn't see the field/didn't trust himself. Held on to the ball way to long, pumped his arm a bunch, and panicked before he had too. I want to see WAY more creativity from Lapo...he was heavily out coached by AC last night. On D, Man RANDLE is BACK!! Fantastic game. The rest of the secondary had their ups and downs, some solid plays by the rookies out there. Macho, well I'll give him credit for getting under the skin of MTL, being a step earlier than he was would have resulted in a few solid plays/stops. I thought it was common knowledge that hitting Glenn lead to good things? See the Randle int...so why we weren't blitzing the snot out of them I don't get. Send the rookies in to hit him, do something. The front 4 had pretty horrible pressure. Though I will say Glenn did well at getting the ball off quickly. All in all, Super disappointed but it's not the end of the world. it's going to be a rough going until labour day. But after that, we will see how this teams plays. MTL won't be as bad as some think, those receivers will make Glenns job easy.

He'll likely be lining up against a weaker DB out there as well. I don't mind him out there, He has the speed to get open and runs nice enough routes that it'll make him hard to cover basically anywhere. He'll be inside a few times though.

yeah, I don't see the necessity of bringing him in? Our CND WR talent isn't something that jumps off the page, but I don't think he improves it at all. And considering where we are with CND Olinemen...I was expecting to see some insurance for that brought in

it's not that odd. Didn't the bombers cut sorenson (Spelling?) a few years back. He helped win a grey cup last year. I'm not saying he's a super star, but a change of scenery can be good. I'm thinking especially when coming home. 3rd year player, CND olineman, Walters would be foolish to not try.

you're not disagreeing with his statement lol. You're just saying that AC/McManus were good at getting the ball out. However, it was no secret that the more pressure you put on AC, especially when you started hitting him (even if he got the ball off) he got more and more frustrated and would get happy feet.

he's going to play the role of DB. Plug up the middle to open the ends for the pass rush. You're right that he's not ready for live action just yet. But in one or two years I can see him being a key piece to the Dline. Even in the Preseason, his first real pro starts he was getting double teamed. Once he gets the nuances of the pro game down, I can see him being a real force in the middle. Hopefully it pans out.

Ottawa has a new oc but they are running the same offence. Make no mistake about it.
