After the Argo game I can't be confident in this week. Especially with the way BC played last week. I'm expecting a close game. Gotta keep the explosive plays to a minimum on Defense. And a maximum on Offense. GO BLUE!!!

Just curious, what does everyone think of Nichols play lately?

Didn't he start against the Stamps? Or just come in from time to time.

I wouldn't necessarily deny this. The device he wears restricts blood flow. A very small amount by their claim. But still. Blood flow being restricted has to have some kind of affect on the body youd think. Maybe his reaction isnt as fast?? I dont know.. seems plausible at the very least.

Matthews was against the stamps. Just never got the ball.

I think he could play. Lower body injury leaves a lot of options on the table. The secrecy is because he's not actually hurt and they just can't find a spot for him and the younger guys. Totally my conspiracy theory.

I fully believe Neuf is a team player and is being hidden on the IR.

You have to take into consideration the competition he is up against as well. Gregg Carr lit that league up after leaving the CFL too.

All these stats, all these words. 6-2 with room to improve in early August is all you need to know.

Exactly. Why are people so surprised by this? Harris has been the work horse for the Bombers since his arrival. "Stop Harris and you stop the Bombers " yeah well, you cant. So keep trying. "I'd be concerned with his work load" I'd be more concerned for the Defense he will be facing next. Could they use more diversity? Sure, and we've seen it this year. But theres something to be said for using what the defense gives you.

Then you should immediately stop watching this team. They dont play people just because hes the highest paid. They play people based on situations. Last night, they needed the clock to run. In football, you do that by running. With Streveler out, hes another running back. To add to another posters comment, left Nichols in for the entire game, but pulled him for the last drive due to performance issues, only to let him back in to kneel down...? That makes sense to you? Qbs who are pulled, aren't let back in the game to do the victory formation. That just doesnt happen. It really isnt hard to understand.

Right now the bombers are favorites. You cant win championships in August. All you can be is competitive. This team is. 1st half of the season, they've got at least 6 games won. That's a great set up for when the games really start to matter.

And they still lost? Lol Stamps suck.

If Matthew's would have caught the deep pass, if Woli caught that TD, if if if if if if things were different, they'd be different....but they're not.

I might be in the minority with this, but Matthews dropped that ball. The DB made a solid play, but I still think that ball should have been caught. I also think Whitehead ran the wrong route on that play, him and Matthews were very close to one another. Aaaand on top of that, Matthews jogged for a good portion of that route.

That's legitimately been the way to stop this team the last 4 years? Maybe 5....easier said then done. This is a run heavy team, end of story. Ball control, high percentage plays. It's not going to change anytime soon.

Theres a difference when your up, and when your down. And I dont know...maybe they learned a hard lesson against TO. If you think they had any intention of throwing the ball there you're out of your mind. Nichols isn't a threat to run. Steveler is. One less defender to focus on Harris. They did the same thing in the WSF last year.
