I know a few years ago, it was a penalty for any player to make the flag throwing motion to a ref. They had a hard line stance on it too. Is that still a thing?

The Rose horse collar was called I'm fairly sure. The shove on Collaros would have been a wishy washy call IMO. The missed horse collar on Darvin is just plain odd. I'm wondering though, can two objectionable conduct penalties be called on one play for the same team? Maybe that's why it wasn't called. Because of the penalty against hughes? I don't know, I just don't see how they missed it. Also, were the Bombers called for holding at all?

Fair enough. I just keep seeing posts about how the Bombers use the deep ball now, like they didn't before. I suppose with Streveler in that's a fair comparison.

Did you not watch Nichols this year? You realize at one point he was behind only Mike Reilly in deep plays right? I dont understand this narrative. Do people forget how games went earlier this year? Nichols when he needs to/is able to can and will throw the ball deep. I'll give Collaros the edge in escaping pressure and getting the ball out, but people acting like Nichols didnt throw it deep is just weird.

Thigpen in my opinion is actually another example or maybe more proof that Harris didn't actually use roids knowingly. Thigpen was having a really good year, was really explosive and was a threat basically every time he got the ball. He gets caught, admits to it, and his production completely falls off. Unless I'm wrong but I don't remember him being nearly as effective after getting caught. Harris on the other hand...well we know what he's done before and after.

To be fair, which I hate being to criders, he hasnt said it doesnt bother him while throwing...just that it does bother him while running. Either way I firmly believe this is all a show and that hes better then hes letting on. He will be the starter on Sunday.

I agree with all of this. Except when talking about Streveler. He runs as close to a running back as any qb ever. Initiating contact, running past/through tackles. Streveler would have a successful career as a rb if he choose to.

Yup, which is why I was chuckling at TSN going ape **** over Kamars return. Dont get me wrong, it's great he was able to recover and come back...but 1st game back in those conditions with the injury he suffered. He wasnt going to do sweet **** all. Guaranteed he was cognizant of every step he took while running.

I'd love to listen in, but I dont think it's good for the Organization if everyone starts to listen to shows that aren't official blue bomber shows. I mean what kind of message is that sending?

Huh? He started 1 game, only because it was the final game of the year and MTL rested their starters. He did play well, against the worst team in the league. Who have been struggling horribly on offense and were also having auditions for next year...that's a really poor example.

He said he was changing his role, not his position. Maston played there, and played well against the same team they're playing in a few days. That's not stupid...secondary positions need to stay the same as much as possible.
