More on Marino reaction...I wonder how much of a career limiting move that is. Players change teams so frequently in the CFL...if the riders do cut him (even if it's not right away) or if they decide to not offer him another contract at the end of this one. Do you think a team with lapo or Masoli on it, will be jumping at the chance to sign him? Honest question... He could have potentially reduced his employability significantly in this league with the way he was acting.

I think Lapo was so pissed off at the end, not only because of what happened....but because everyone knows THAT is who Marino is...and his HC hasn't done a damn thing about it. This will be a real test for the CFLPA, one that I'm fully expecting them to fail. And after they do, I don't want to hear another damn thing from them about player safety.

The command centre is so bad, this SHOULD be PI. But I have no faith that they'll get it right, and because of that it's almost always a bad idea to challenge plays under 25yrds in the 1st q. Paid off, but I still hate it when coaches challenge 5 yrd plays in the 1st quarter...

not completely...I know that's the narrative around here...but it isn't quite true. He did run a lot of go routes. However...I think there was a real lack of trust between him and Matt Nichols. I specifically remember 1 game against MTL or maybe TO...it was an eastern team. Anyway Lucky was getting behind the defense regularly and Nichols just wouldn't put the ball up for him. I don't know why...but he was being sent deep and didn't see the ball. Lapo didn't let him run many routes on the route tree, I'll say that. He was basically a screen/go guy and that's about it. But even he will admit during the canceled season he really improved his route running skills. So I'm guessing while he was here he just wasn't as polished as he is now. Even in his break out year last year there was a lot of comments around the league about how much he's improved in his route running.

I'd be blown away if Wilson is able to get back on the field this year. And I hope Hardrick is able to go, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him sit this week out. Id be lying if I said I wasn't concerned this week. BC has a very potent offence. I feel like this week could be a "First to 30 wins" type of game. And I'm not convinced our O has the ability to keep pace with BC if our D doesn't hold them.

DT said something before the season started that immediately had me worried about Bailey. Prior to this year he only had a hand full of catches without using the waggle. But had 90% of his production came with him moving before the ball was snapped. Except that we didn't for half the year the last year.

I really want to see Agudosi get a shot.

I do not at all buy into the theory that the run game is suffering because there's no Harris. It wasn't this bad last year without him.
