Man the Bombers sure lucked out with guys like Lawler, Stove and Harris. All guys they lost ended up with season ending injuries. Not sure if that means we have a really good training department or just sheer bad luck on injuries for those guys.

We are 0-2 going into the bye week against 2 teams we had no business losing too. Let’s not make it 0-3. I fully expect a beat down of the Elks.

I also think a lot about the 58,59, 61,62 years when they say the 1960 team was the best of them all but lost in the playoffs. Could we be repeating history (less a pandemic year?)

I have been thinking about this all year. So many similarities between the 2 teams. Many games in 2001 were close wins as they are this year. I do think our D is better than 2001 and our O arguably is slightly worse at this point. We had with 509 points on O and gave up 383 on D back in 01. As long as we don’t play an 8-10 team in the GC we will be fine 😉

And many still think Faj would be a good QB if only he had a better Oline, OC, QB coach, knee, water boy, mascot.
