I know from talking to Biggie that they like to do this. Leading up to banjo bowl he was listed as questionable and when I talked to him his like nah I’m playing just wanted to F with the Riders. I don’t think guys like Alexander, Bighill, Jefferson, Jeffcoat etc etc are going to be easy on Harris. I have a feeling they are going to tee up on him and know his moves from years of practice against him. I’m really not worried about Harris having a big game. we also have to factor in the O’Shea factor who is 6-0 in Grey Cups as a player/coach. I’m no math wiz but that’s like 100%…

This is no knock on Dru, he played well in the games he got to play in this year no question. But I think our Oline has a lot to do with that. I think most backups would have a fairly easy time back there. My fear for Brown going to Sask is he would get crushed behind that Oline and not look nearly as good. Sask really needs to fix that first and it’s not fixed in one off season.

Interesting fact I’m not sure many know. But regardless of how many more we win the Bombers will be the first and last team listed on the cup for the next 100+ years. Since we won it in 2019 we were the last name plate on the cup. In 2021 they removed the Ticats plate and replaced it with the Bombers. So until each plate is removed we will be on there at least twice until they are all replaced. This does not include the 12 original plates around the top of course as they will not be removed.

I do like how Rourke showed emotion after the game and how he stayed on the field to watch. I remember Greg Carr saying after the 2011 GC that he sat on the field and watched BC celebrate which made him want to win it even more the following year (even though that didn’t work out for him). A lose like this builds character. But wondering why he was smiling until he was talking to Burnham and then lost it. Is this a sign that Burnham or Rourke are not expecting to be back and Rourke wanted to win a cup for Burnham? Or am I putting to much thought into this lol.

I bought Darbys orange jersey last year and was pissed when he left in the off season as I wanted him to sign it. I was able to get him to sign it on Thursday after practice! He is such a character and is super funny! Glad he’s back and hope he sticks it out a few years here.
