I also think a lot about the 58,59, 61,62 years when they say the 1960 team was the best of them all but lost in the playoffs. Could we be repeating history (less a pandemic year?)

I have been thinking about this all year. So many similarities between the 2 teams. Many games in 2001 were close wins as they are this year. I do think our D is better than 2001 and our O arguably is slightly worse at this point. We had with 509 points on O and gave up 383 on D back in 01. As long as we don’t play an 8-10 team in the GC we will be fine 😉

And many still think Faj would be a good QB if only he had a better Oline, OC, QB coach, knee, water boy, mascot.

I am going to assume the 3 players of the week will be: Collaros Schoen Adams Jr. not necessarily in that order. But hard to argue with a QB with 4 passing TDs, a WR with 125yrd and a TD and a QB with 305 and 2 TDs. In the running would be Demski with 2 TDs and 95 yards. I didn’t really see anyone on D on any team that would be worth mentioning.

He sure is. But it’s one thing to say it in the confines of the locker room. It’s totally absurd to say it to the media. This is what separates the good coaches from the bad. GC year or not I think a change up now would spark more of a turn around then staying status quo and your players knowing your coach thinks you suck lol.
