The Riders needed to sign like 2 of the top 5 free agent o-linemen. That would be a success IMO, anything less is a fail.

Maybe the Riders have a bunch of unknowns coming for training camp that can surprise them and be hidden gems? I assume that is the only thing they can hope for?

Boston Pizza is good when they have the kids cards , otherwise if it's only myself and the wife we try to avoid since the prices are hefty for heated up frozen food.

I do have to chuckle at Leafs fans trying to spin that trade into making it seem like they barely gave up anything in order to get him. St Louis comes away the winner IMO.

Bailey plays with emotions... so some time he will make an amazing play... sometimes he will brain fart and drop and easy ball because he's amped up. He's easily replaceable and "if" Agudossi or however it is spelled is healthy... a far better prospect based on his limited time.

What's with all the weird posts on here? Bombers were super dominant and played their absolute worst in the Grey Cup while the Argos played a solid game from start till end. We lost it wasn't a fluke, it was just a bad showing by the Blue. Run that game with the same people ten times, we win more then we lose. It was a bad day time to move on. For Mike to suggest that the Blue are old and decrepit and that we sucked majorly and were a crap team and all is the end of the world is equally ridiculous, someone peed in his corn flakes and he's just mad for whatever reason. This team has above average talent in every position with exception of kicking. A healthy Kyrie Wilson and a decent kicker and this team looks far different. Zach was playing lights out for most of the year, I don't understand why he's over the hill and awful because he played one bad game (the important one) yet for the rest of the season he was all star. The logic is ridiculous. Toronto is a good team and they reloaded with good new talent so they will be a force in the East. That being said how consistent has MBT been in his full career, he goes hot and he goes cold. He's a random QB so who knows which version shows up.

What's with all the bickering? Toronto is a good team and contray to what Mike says the Bombers are the best team in the league until proven otherwise. Yes some guys are getting older and falling from their prime... other guys like Brady , Lawler, Schoen, are on the upswing and are entering their prime. Also Walters has a fantastic track record for drafting/recruiting so we have no idea on what we have with the new guys who are coming in. Also O'Shea best coach in the league. So don't feed the troll and also don't crap on Bluto because they have improved and are coming off a cup win. Lets talk about the Riders signing cast offs instead.

All I'm familiar with is them being fined for health violations nearly every single time for 10 years straight (when I started looking at the list online) It was truly impressive at how many huge fines they had for sanitation,rodent infestation, keeping food at poor temperatures.

I've had friends growing up (from Transcona) who never ventured out of the area and would in their minds be eating fine dining such as 7-11 , McDonalds, and Foody Goody. Clearly some groups of people like the lower quality fast food or sit down places otherwise those businesses would of closed shop years ago. The fact that Cathay House was still open up until a few years ago really does show that even the lowest quality and dirtiest of places can still find customers.

LOL I attend establishments all around the province. If ever in Snow Lake the one single pizza place they have is fantastic. Grab a pizza and then check out the beautiful rapids and scenery!

A thing to remember is that their is a continual new fan base of kids that are introduced to these series. My 6 year old is just now getting into watching movies , so for her Toy Story 5 would be fresh and new and exciting. Toy Story also is a good franchise that has lots of endearing personalities (the toys) and lots of stimulating and interesting scenarios or characters that kids can relate with. Strangeworld at least in today's day and age would really struggle to ever finding a large audience. The characters were extremely generic and bland and many of them were unlikable. The story really had nothing unique , it didn't have any music numbers, really no characters that most kids could relate with, and the plot was confusing (for a kid). The cherry on the top was them really shoe horning the 15 year old son being flamboyantly gay and falling over himself over another boy which was completely unnecessary for the plot and that alone killed any chance of the movie having financial success. I don't think it even played in China/Russia and it most certainly turned many parents in North America away from taking the family to see it. I think the recent shake up at Disney and with the most recent news it appears that they are going to go back to what worked and cool off with catering to the "woke" crowd. I'm sure that they will however do all experimentation on Disney Plus with movies/shows that won't lose them 200 million plus like Strangeworld did.

Outside of Winnipeg... it is only known for perogies. I'm always ranting and raving with my coworkers (out of province) about how much of a diverse variety of restaurants we have in Winnipeg.

After watching Strangeworld and reading the massive backlash behind it, I can see why Disney is going back to the formula that has brought them success all of these years. Also has a parent of two girls... Frozen still is massive with the young girls. They all want to be Anna/Elsa and still will sing the Let it Go song.

I made the mistake of going on the Riderfans page to see what they are thinking and I was pleasantly surprised that most of the people were giving honest opinions...... until I read this:

This is not true at all, have you watched the guy play? He's very average when it comes to speed. Davis in his one season that he started 9 or so games ran for a total of 115 yards. Cornelius this past season after starting about the same amount of games ran for 502 yards. Davis can do a goal line plunge, but the guy has never shown to have fast wheels ever. He's not elusive at all also. His arm is also very average , I don't have any metrics that can show this but if you watched him play the guy is not throwing balls out like a cannon similar to Cornelius. He's got a slightly above average arm but he's not throwing heaters at all to anyone. It's a misconception that the dude is some athletic beast, I'm not sure where comes from?

This! Davis isn't a fast or elusive QB, Prukop is far more mobile and slippery. Davis has a decent but not a cannon arm either. Davis only ability seems that he can usually stay healthy. No idea why anyone would waste time with him outside of being a 3rd string warm body that is familiar with the game.

Is it more sad that Lanny is more remembered about his backstage flexibility trick and doing a fake shoot with Hannibal then his accomplishments in the ring?
