Winnipeg has way to many entertainment options for the casual fan to drop that much coin to sit outside and watch two teams they don't care about to play football. If we were playing like the Ti Cats then they definitely would of sold much more tix. We have pretty much zero chance of going to the cup , the Jets are way more popular and people would way rather watch them play without freezing there asses off. Wade will have to drop the ticket prices in half to sell out.

However... If our o line plays decent the Rider secondary is awful and I can see us chewing them apart. Also stop Messam and make Smith throw the ball beyond 15 yards. His deep balls are atrocious.

I really wasn't that impressed with Smith... outside of the one bomb to Demski he had only about 100 yards passing and could of been picked off easily 2 - 3 more times (end zone bomb, deep in his own end where 2 stamps collided , and later in the game when he floated one that was up for grabs). I think when we play them pretty much the key is to stop Messam and they'll be in big trouble. That defense also is still awful... that half time TD had at least 2 riders just watching the ball go into the Stamps receivers hands... they have an awful secondary.
