As a non nerd and casual Star Wars fan I thought the movie was really really good. The girl Rey is definitely Hans and Leias daughter. She was finishing his sentences and is sitting right at home in the falcon. Also Luke was busy training Jedi and has been a hermit..where did he find time to sleep with anyone. Also I thought Jedis were to avoid having families and falling in love as it may cause issues with staying focus on the light side. They are clearly setting it up for a bro vs sis showdown. The black dude Fin , I'm guessing also has the force... Kylo sensed him at the beginning and his ability to immediately shoot tie fighters made it seem to me that the force took over him. I loved the humour and the lack of racist stereotypes and unnecessary kiddish side characters. The action was great, the pacing and story all were clear and the movie went by so fast for me it was very enjoyable and I'd say 2nd best after Empire Strikes Back. I also appreciated the usage of real physical locations and the return of porkins! My only gripes would be her ability to mind control so fast and the lack of new planets/villages and no real new unique machinery.

Jets just can't seem to win these type of games this season... last year they would pull through and win the close ones...

Before I would click the link on the top right where it would have a list of whatever threads had new posts since my last visit. Made it easier to see all the threads that were updated rather then going into each one manually and sifting.

Has anyone rumoured the Blue going for Harris?

Game 32 : Forest Rangers @ Jets
Brandon replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
The game could of been a big blowout , we missed on a few breakways, a 5-3 pp, some open nets that we fanned on. -
It was more so an issue on how we used him...the guy still sucks when he's double covered and going deep.

The reason people are impressed with Sask is that they canned a loser and signed a proven winner. They cut fat and appear to be making big moves. We stay put, hired a proven loser and have not made any big changes. -
Anticipating Big Changes or Small by Camp?

Until they show that they can recruit talent instead of mediocre scraps then I'm not sold. -

Throw in Stuart and we can get Stamkos! -
Jets assign Adam Lowry to the Moose
Brandon replied to Blueballz's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
You guys are all funny... Maurice is going nowhere, the club is struggling because the young guys are underperforming (go figure). -
I agree with Goalie... Need to make something happen rather then sitting back and hoping for the other team to make a mistake.

Jets assign Adam Lowry to the Moose
Brandon replied to Blueballz's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
The sky is falling the sky is falling!! Yeesh people freaking out because we send Lowry down? He's young, he's struggling and he's playing on the 4th line. It makes perfect sense for me. No desperation , nothing to do with Frolik... Simply the right move to make. My guess is they bring up Cormier. -

I am fortunate and live on a school bus route so the roads are nice and clean for me. If anything service is better for myself... Now garbage pickup on the other hand..much worse. -

Come on now horrible?? http://cfl.stats.com/cfl/playerstats.asp?id=336211 His stats are way better then the crap we fielded in the last several years and he runs real hard. I'd have zero issues if they signed him. -
Wow these are awful refs ...late in the 2nd period it appears the refs have it in for the Jets. Enstrom gets cross checked illegally into our bench and they don't make the call??

So many weak penalties on us...

Stuart is a good guy, only on this site do I read anyone complaining about the guy and his role with his team.

I'll take Harris over Chevon Walker...

Cisco is having an event and sent an invite to a bunch of nerds to go Friday..

Simply quoting what it said on many many sites, let me know when you publish your studies that contradict the stats of a legit publication like SI

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/tyson-hartnett/why-athletes-go-broke-and_b_6812864.html ESPN had a documentary about it.... Also common sense... Hockey is an expensive sport to play and usually families in poverty cannot afford to put a kid through hockey. Boxing, basketball and football... these guys are coming straight from the ghetto from usually broken homes and very low income... they have zero knowledge of how to manage finances and of course so many of them go crazy and blow the money or get conned out of the money. Your example is flawed. It's states SI did a study of former NFL and NBA players. That's all it said. Not how many or for how long. Even then, the percentage is well below what you stated and is not broken down by any racial identifications. You're guessing. I'm not saying players don't go broke, just your statement of 90% of black athletes go broke. http://newamericamedia.org/2010/07/beyond-lebron----many-ex-ballers-broke.php Sorry the report said 80% of NFL athletes go broke within 5 years and black atheletes make up almost 70% of players in the NFL. I apologize for being slightly off resulting in your panties getting in a bunch.
