I'm assuming the issue is that Montreal has so many options for entertainment that it's hard to pull people away... it's either this or everyone in Montreal is bandwagon fans who jumped off because the team is struggling? Either way very concerning that they loss that much money.

I finally caught up in this thread and dear lord all I could think of while back reading was the following: It's definitely much more tolerable without Unknown Poster and Kelowna bickering....

Didn't Montreal have a terrible promotion where people can come to the game free starting in the 3rd quarter? I'm surprised that more teams in the East have not followed Ottawa's blue print.... make the atmosphere fun and exciting where young people including non football fans come out ...

I was listening to Derek Taylor on TSN Radio this morning and boy the green kool aid has hit him hard. The guy wasn't sure where to rank the Bombers in the West and that they could be anywhere from First to Fifth. He made it seem like the lost of Santos Knox was a massive deal and that he's not sure about our receivers after Matthews, Adams and Demski?

Trouba is probably the 2nd biggest FA defenseman that will be on the market... he gets you back way more then only a 2nd rounder. Detroit would have to offer a 1st rounder plus 2 prospects at least.

I definitely blame the media, the guy was suppose to be competing for a starting job after 2 big departures. You'd think they would want to interview him to see his thoughts on finally getting his chance? Super weird that he didn't show, I wonder what the deal is?

Nobody they can get at this time that can replace his level of play. Sucks for Edmonton but good for us.

Matt excelled on multiple teams playing with different players.... Khari was great for a short period of time and had the help of the greatest receiver ever in the CFL...

I don't mind listening to 1290 in the morning , I find Toth to be super entertaining. The afternoon guys are a bit meh to me, Ralph is absolutely terrible and misfires on a lot of his "jokes". Bauming is decent but a bit to much of a homer.

I'm really curious to see how much of a factor Jones was on the Saskatchewan defense. They seemed to have played way above their heads and if they come back down to earth then yikes it could get ugly in Riderville.

Isn't Adams taking Dresslers spot at SB now? I'd assume Matthews and Wolly will be the guys going down field this season?

In regards to rallying the team... last season it was night and day different between Streveler and Nichols. Nichols had moments but the offense fell into deep lulls with him being scared to make quick reads and doing a lot of safe dump offs. Streveler got the guys going big time, with his legs and with his quick strikes the team from a fans view looked way more energized and enthusiastic once he was in the game. Two seasons ago the guys rallied behind Nichols but last season not so much. It also didn't help that he sounded more whiny last season blaming everything else aside from his own poor play. I'm hoping this season it is not a repeat.

It was an ok ending, a little to much focus on Sheldon though IMO. I would of liked to have seen a few more characters return such as Sheldons sister or the parents or maybe even closure on Howards dad situation. I thought it was a meh ending.
