I just think it's a bit of a stretch to say this one specific play 'likely cost us the game' when Nichols had all game to do something and he couldn't. It may not be all on Nichols, but it's definitely not all on Streveler "You get one play to win the game kid or it's all your fault!"

Yep, winning is the goal and it's tough to do that with training wheels on. Let's see who we can bring to camp before declaring anyone our starter for next season. Streveler will still have his role to play, starter or not.

Let's not lose sight of who actually beat us today. Calgary is a good team and their record reflects that. They have one of the most effective QBs the CFL has ever seen and their depth at receiver is ridiculous. I sincerely hope they choke because frankly it's sickening.

I like the idea of saving some major cap space... I love the idea of rolling with the young gun QB and letting him work it out on the field... he's got a great skill set and fiery attitude that suits our offenses smash mouth identity. Still, it's pretty early to be anointing our next starter before we see who shows up to camp.

Medlock - pretty much the only reason we were on the score board Harris - I hope he's got more in the tank for next season. Deserved better play calls Jeffcoat - a big sack early set the tone for a strong defensive effort. Pressure on BLM kept us in the game longer than maybe we should have been, HH - Simonise for picking up our biggest offensive play of the game, and the Bomber fans in the stands for repping our team in hostile territory.

Looking at it this way. We are basically just edging our way towards the greatest championship jugger-nut every experienced in football fandom. Every season without the GC is going to make our collective cup-gasm that much more epic. These teams that keep winning cups every few years have no self restraint and don't know what they're missing out on.

What? I remember you showing up with your Vegas Knights avatar logo during the Jets playoff run. You literally came into existence on this forum to engage in jets discussion. More revisionist history. The city sold the team? I was young but old enough to remember clearly the save our jets rallies. Kids were asking where they could mail their allowances to in order to keep the team. It was purely a $$$ issue; one of the smallest market teams competing in a league with next to no revenue sharing and no salary cap (at the time). The coyotes???? At least seats must be cheap!
