And this is a very good thing. The other day I made the analogy of Walters being in a poker game. Now you see why. He handled things beautifully. No, I think Wiecek is still smarting from me simply telling him to "relax" in a tweet for which he blocked me afterwards. He blocked me to for correcting an inaccuracy in one of his reports. I agree - MB's offence is a breath of fresh air after these last two seasons. I'd like to see both him (as an OC, not HC) and Hall back next year.

Burke's been spinning the tires all season. I don't see how anyone could suggest firing Burke would be throwing him under the bus. I agree, Burke is awful, but so is the roster. Really, we do not have a .500 team with Trestman or Huffer on the sidelines. This team is easily 9-9 with one of those guys, and Max Hall probably wouldn't be our starting QB either. The coach doesn't really control what QBs are on the team, so unless you think someone in our current crop of QBs is better than Max Hall, he likely would be our starting QB.

Interesting question. Based on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_CFL_Draft , I make it that we have: Round One: 1 pick (probably the #2 overall). Round Two: nothing. Round Three: 2 picks (ours and Toronto's). Round Four: 1 pick. Round Five: nothing. Round Six: 2 picks (ours and Edmonton's). Round Seven 1 pick. So we have a total of 7 picks. Only problem is that over half of them are Round Four or lower and I keep hearing that it's not going to be a very deep draft. we have 3 picks in the first 3 rounds and 4 picks in the last 4 rounds.... You think we'll end the year with a better record than Edmonton? It's certainly possible - Edmonton probably loses out. We might as well, but I think we take one from Toronto or Hamilton.

Can't do much worse than Edmonton is doing right now. I don't care if we win, I just want Hall to show something to build on.
