The entire team should up the ante, next game......and actually be prepared to play, from the get-go. The rest will take care of itself.

Buy the standard set, since Matt took over the helm.......that was not a good game. But in the big picture, week to week - this D is a far larger problem.

Knox is actually a very instinctive player.......he always goes the wrong way or takes the wrong angle, out there.

No Thorpe and Johnson were questionable (and were questioned) roster decisions. We miss a lot of physicality without those two. Questionable game planning and not to let the players off the hook - poor execution and mistakes, by the players. Falling behind big, in a rabid stadium. From top to bottom - this team, for whatever reasons......was simply not ready to get it done. This cannot happen next weekend.

Was on the road in the US.....just came home and have been watching the tape......part way through, so far....but have some questions. What the hell was our game plan on offense? You can stretch a field more vertically than horizontally....and we are not even making the attempt to do so What the hell are our receivers doing? Nichols is going deep into reads, and still having no one open downfield. What is with the back 7 on D? Fogg at DHB looks horrible, Knox simply has no instincts at all, Hurl not quick enough.....and cover/tackle busts everywhere. What is with Hall? Never seen Glenn play before? Came up with a great scheme.....for Glenn, that is. What was with that first Nichols pic......Matt used everything but smoke and a blanket, telegraphing that one.... Only other question......where can I find more gin?

Have to contest the short patterns, like not playing way off the receivers.....and make Glenn hold the ball, and hang it the pocket, past the 3-4 step backs.

Message boards are not static things.....they move and shake, as people express their opinions. Dissenting and disagreeing .....actually is best done with some good nature, facts, wit and outright humor. The deal is to at least make the attempt, and take the same pride in this board...... as we do with our team. Opposing fans can add quite a lot to any board..... including insight about their own team, the stoking of ole rivalries, and some entertainment (one way or another). Non-personal trash talking is what real fans, can do. I trust our mods, to deal with blatant trolls, in the appropriate manner. As far as this particular thread......Ripper referring to Nichols as a breakfast special, can easily be refuted with simple FACTS. Nichols's numbers, winning record as starter, and many comebacks...speak for themselves. Some of the reaction, here....has been a bit over the top.

All this blather about what team A did against team B, in accessing their chances about team C, blah, blah..... Edmonton won 7 in a row, by an average of 5 points per game. In this league, a lot of nights, there is a fine line between getting 2 points, or not
