Well, Nichols was right on the bullseye, with hitting the right sideline, all day....... Difference between wanting to avoid turnovers.....and being somewhat obsessed with it....

Nichols may be (and probably) singing a different tune with his teammates, but his post game comments didn't help him with the fanbase. That said, Matt will be here next year, and we will need to see Streveler, after another camp under his belt, and how things look, as far as his development. But, after the knee injury, this year......looks like Nichols has turned into a complete statue, back there.....and when the pocket breaks down.....cannot pressure a D with his legs at all. We also need to upgrade receiver corps......Matt may be doing all that short side semi-rolling for a reason. We just don't seem to every get guys in the intermediate and deep areas of the field on one side.....

If Nichols thinks he played fine today......then he is delusional. Not a lot of poise in the pocket at all, today. But in case, anyone thinks I am picking on him alone.......receivers had problems getting open, our OL certainly did not dominate, LAPO came up with one of the most tentative game plans, I have seen from him......and the GM never addressed our holes on KR and receiver opposite Adams, all year.... Guess I about covered it. Disappointing on a lot of levels....

Well, we used to have an OL that placed a heavy emphasis on helping the QB.....like yelling "look out!" as often as possible, and never failing to help our QB's up off the ground, after yet another sack. This current crew just takes no mess, from anyone, anytime.....
