  1. Sounds like he has his head on straight based on this article. He's not blowing off his slow start to camp and giving himself a pass. He's been putting in extra work and listening to the coaches and it's starting to show according to MOS. https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/2025/05/26/catching-his-stride
  2. I could easily see him staying. He's got a very good job here and he (and his family) have been entrenched in the community. He's still been doing stuff in local schools (anti-bullying campaigns) as recently as a month ago so even if he's not with the Bombers anymore, he's still active in that aspect. I could just as easily see him leaving though - his kids are young enough that uprooting them wouldn't be too hard and he could do his job (or a similar one) anywhere.
  3. Yeah. it was pretty clear that neither guy decided it was their time to pack it in, and that it was the club who made those calls. That said, both guys did handle it as gracefully as possible. DB Brandon Alexander bids Winnipeg Blue Bombers farewell but not retiring from CFL - 3DownNation Winnipeg Blue Bombers moving on from veteran LB Adam Bighill: report - 3DownNation
  4. Yup. That's why the CFL explicitly banned them when we played MTL in the 2023 GC. Didn't want their fans bringing them and ruining the game for the biggest tv audience of the season.
  5. Correct. Last conference final win: June 1, 2006. 😬
  6. I love ET's work but his reports aren't what I want to see. Like his day 10 write-up, for example, was 95% about Schoen getting healthy, 3% about Willie and Adams acting crazy on ST drills & 2% about Lofton coming back in & a handful of guys sitting out. There was nothing about who's standing out, who had a rough go, who's practicing with who, that sort of thing. Like did absolutely nothing happen that day? To me, that's a not a TC report, despite the name of the article. Blue Bombers Training Camp Report | Day 10 - Winnipeg Blue Bombers
  7. I'd settle for some unfounded hype right about now. 48 hours out from the 1st pre-season game and I've heard very little about camp. Other than Tait's "Training Camp Reports" (which don't really report all that much), there's been next to nothing. Feels worse than usual but maybe it's just me?
  8. Not quite true. Wilson was getting a lot of reps with the 1st team offense early in main camp last year so there was some talk. He was also listed as one of our neg listers in Sep 2023 and then signed to a futures contract a month later so he was already on the radar prior to last year. The problem is that we don't hear a whole lot about camp in general anymore - doesn't matter if it's an established vet or a rookie.
  9. He was at their rookie camp a week and a half ago and he's at their OTA's now but I haven't seen him mentioned once so far. Given his status as an UDFA/CFL guy, he needs to standout to have any shot, and so far he hasn't done that.
  10. I know this has been done in the US (my friends stumbled upon https://juicysfamousfairfood.com/ when they were in Florida) and it gets pretty good reviews. This place didn't have games though so your idea might be a step up in providing that carnival feel. Personally, I couldn't see it being a regular thing for me but I don't have kids so I'm probably not the target market for that kind of place. Would definitely try it a couple times though.
  11. And Jones is working for Bill Belichick at the University of North Carolina.
  12. According to the Bomber site:: Monday, May 19 – at field beside WSF South Practice: 9:00 a.m. -12:25 p.m.
  13. Injury bug starting early. https://3downnation.com/2025/05/17/new-saskatchewan-roughriders-ol-sean-mcewen-will-be-out-for-a-while-with-injury-corey-mace/ https://3downnation.com/2025/05/17/canadian-receiver-nick-mardner-carted-off-the-field-with-injury-during-ottawa-redblacks-scrimmage-report/
  14. TSN would be lucky to add one of, if not the best QB's to ever step on a CFL field! 🤣
  15. Of all the people that could have left, Matty would not have been my top choice... Matt Dunigan not returning to CFL on TSN: sources - 3DownNation
  16. Didn't see it mentioned anywhere but Makonzo was added to the 6 game injured list a couple days ago. ☹️
  17. MOS used to be great at finding those little loopholes but it's been a long time since we've seen that.
  18. Should have but the new commish likes it for whatever reason. CFL commissioner Stewart Johnston a fan of onside punt rule - 3DownNation I don't think he'll be seeing the field anytime soon so he probably won't have to worry about it.
  19. Yeah LL is definitely dated & would not have been someone I picked but, at the time, it seemed like a pretty big name for a CFL game. Bringing in 50 Cent got them about 20k more people so I think they learned from that. Plus Snoop never turns down a chance to add to his jersey collection and he's big into football. Maybe they can get him doing some commentary since he's done it for other sports! lol
  20. Doman seems to enjoy his 90's/00's rap music. First LL Cool J, then 50 Cent and now Snoop. Drop It Like It's Hot: Snoop Dogg to play B.C. Lions home opener - 3DownNation
  21. I'm an Oilers fan and I struggle with this & I'd also add Trent Frederic to the list after his "fight" with Gustafsson. Just so many unlikeable players over there right now.
