It's his kid, Landon, but they definitely sound very similar. He was with the Canucks for a couple seasons before getting hired here last month.

Yeah I don't hate him as much as some. He has some good moments and some really not so good ones (as most players on this team do). The secondary as a whole seem to be playing better recently.

Sure they should, just as long as you put the word poor or little in front of value.

Isn't it coming back for another season? I thought season 5 is the last one and is being shortened to 6 episodes. They might not be streaming it on-demand, but if you have the CTV Sci-Fi channel as part of your cable package, they are replaying the season 4 finale (Tomorrow's Enterprise) on Thursday October 15th at 8:35pm CST. https://www.tvpassport.com/tv-listings/stations/ctv-scifi-dv/3968/2026-10-15

If you look at how inactive we are, compared to other teams, when it comes to scouting guys and adding them to the neg list, I don't think it's a matter of player not want to come, and more that they just aren't even being given a chance. There is definitely a vibe of "we're happy with who we have so that's who we're rolling with". Every other team is far more active in looking for/bringing in new talent and it's maddening watching other teams actively trying to get better while we stand pat, for the most part. There's a social media account that track neg list movement and they have a really helpful website where you can see what every team is doing. They recent added a feature that gives a bit of a scouting profile on players so you can kind of get an idea of who might be in the pipeline or what kind of player we're looking for. https://cfl-negotiation-list.fyi/

I know this is AI but with Edmonton giving up another 7 goals last night, I wonder how close Babcock is turning this into reality! 😂

GTD maybe? Reserve roster players are allowed to be swapped in at the last minute, even if the 46 man roster has already been set.

Yup, he went from limited practice on Tuesday (hip issue) to not practicing at all on Thursday. Not too big a surprise but that doesn't make it any better.

Coaches cap came in in 2019 so it would have been gone after 2021 if it was only in place for 2 seasons. 3DN says it was still in place as of 2024 and there was even potential to add a 2nd exemption. 3DownNationHow long each CFL head coach, GM is under contract (sort...The contract lengths of CFL coaches and personnel people used to be irrelevant. If someone was fired, teams faced no ramifications beyond paying out the remaining value of their deal. Aside from a few

Do I think it's likely? Not in the least but it's an option the club has so it's not an absolute certainty like you're claiming it is.

Not necessarily - we have never used our one-time exemption so we can fire MOS (or KW) at any point without penalty.

Just do not get him started on TPS reports...

We'll still have our 1st next year - the conditional pick is for round 2. Nevermind - you're right - they have our 2nd rounder but that could be upgraded to the first round.

Hate to speculate but sounds like the latter. One of his AEW friends made a statement tonight talking about checking in with your friends and how the wrestling business can make your mind go into weird spaces. It also looks like he took Andy Williams death pretty hard so that may have fuelled things.

They can file any appeal they want but the commission doesn't need to hear it. A foul is considered a judgement call for the ref, it's not something that would be overturned on appeal, even if the decided to hear the argument. There needs to be an error in applying the rules by an official for a successful appeal. Winning an appeal, doesn't necessarily mean the result gets overturned. We had a successful appeal here after the last UFC. Karine Silva appealed her loss to Jasmine Jasudavicius (for using Zyn during the fight). Commission agreed that Jasmine had something in her mouth, in violation of the rules, but could not determine retroactively what it was so all they could do was fine her - result stayed the same. Last UFC fight I can remember getting overturned was a Cody Brundage fight from last summer, because there was an error made in how incomplete rounds were scored (state laws said no scoring incomplete rounds but they did because that's the usual practice, just not in Georgia I guess). UFC would like a lot of things but this would not be in their control.

They can't. The referee has sole discretion as to assess a foul (accidental or intentional. If the ref doesn't call it a foul, the commission can't overrule that decision afterwards. instant replay was added to assist with getting those calls right but Herb didn't think there was any reason to in this case so it'll stay as a win for Rojas.

Not sure Lapo would come back at this point anyway. He's got a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to the Olympics with Team Canada. Would he give that up for another go round here? If it was me, I wouldn't - I'd keep coaching the national team and doing media stuff until after the Olympics, then maybe look at return to the CFL.

Yup, watched that finish multiple times and still have no idea what happened. He was well ahead on the scorecards too, going into the last round.

I have no interest in seeing him as OC again but at least has room to grow. Condell is what he is, at this point in his career.

We've got way bigger issues than I thought it we had Anthony Calvillo out there kicking for us! 🤣

Not just this game.

Hey Bryce!

Yeah it was Gordo!
