  1. BLM is talking about retiring - he's not sure if he'll be back next year so not sure if that's a real option. https://3downnation.com/2025/11/08/bo-levi-mitchells-future-unclear-after-hamilton-tiger-cats-lose-east-final/
  2. Yup, came out a few days ago. It's already on the CFL transactions page so it's official - his signing & Flip Dixon's.
  3. And to be clear, we haven't signed Stoops, he was just added to our neg list so we may never see him up here.

  5. Still an upgrade over the current OC!
  6. Especially with a guy like Chad Kelly there (although I get the feeling his time there is done). MOS loves the high character guys and Kelly is probably the furthest thing from that in the league right now.
  7. Yup, 6 downtown businesses have been hit in the last few months. Could be both a serial arsonist/drug addict but it could very well be extortion. Police believe at least 2 were targeted attacks (video shows molotov cocktails being used) rather than a random incident.
  8. Surrey, Edmonton, Toronto... it's a wide spread issue over the last few years. B.C. extortion timeline: when it started and who might be behind it | CBC News
  9. We have no idea how they came to that arrangement though - that could have been something they (Miller, MOS & Walters) sat down and discussed when negotiating a new deal. Toronto is reportedly offering MOS significant control over personnel if he goes there and Dinwiddie also said he was doing some GM duties for the Argos so this may not be as abnormal as you think.
  10. Could be. It's been happening in other cities for years - Winnipeg may just behind the times as usual. 2023 article from Montreal experiencing similar issues: 'Probably organized crime': Montreal police probe wave of arsons, extortion attempts
  11. Yet almost every other team has their rookies taking snaps and, in some cases, starting. Veresuk in Hamilton was runner up as rookie of the year and took over the starting MLB role after 2 games - he would never have gotten a sniff of that here.
  12. Show your work - please provide sources for this, just as you ask others to back up their claims. You've used media reports to back-up other statements but you seem to be ignoring the media reports that say MOS has just about as much say in personnel as Walters. They are both at fault for how this team is composed so it's not 100% on either guy but, IMO, MOS gets more heat as he's more visible of the two and he does get the blame for the gameday decisions. Where Walters can carry more of the blame is the amount being paid to certain players (ZC, I'm looking at you) and how that may have hamstrung us in other areas. Also ZC only signed a 1 year extension, not 2. His 3 year deal already included the 2025 season but he was extended through 2026.
  13. I was hoping part of his speech would be a call to not have the rules changed. Would have been a nice public f**k you to Johnson.

  15. Vaval goes back to back & takes home ST player of the year and rookie of the year.
  16. No, his team (NJ Generals) was not part of the USFL/XFL? He's on the College Football Playoff Selection Committee and is helping Oregon State look for their next HC which sounds like things to keep busy with in retirement.
  17. I also think the belief that Osh would leave and not take any of his guys with him is not very realistic. Biggie is also not likely to happen as he has been very clear about not coaching when he's done. He's going to be all about his family when he hangs them up.
  18. FWIW, this Berger guy says Hamilton wants Osh as GM but Milanovich stays HC. T.O has offered the HC position with significant personnel power but Pinball stays GM I can't see him giving up coaching for the GM role in Hamilton so does he leave Winnipeg for the exact same scenario in Toronto? Pinball is still his boss at the end of the day, if push came to shove.
  19. TBF, Penn says he left because of his loyalty to Ted. He was the one who brought Penn in to the CFL and gave him a shot.
  20. From what's been reported, he already has a big say in personnel here so is that really a big selling feature? Yep, BC paid peanuts for Allen (who was a pending FA). There are moves available to be made.
  21. The last update on Manu was Nov 5th where Campbell said he didn't see him starting in the next week or two. He's eligible to return on Sunday but he hasn't practiced so that's not happening.
  22. I don't think stud OL are super rare in FA and the Bombers have been on both sides of it. We picked up arguably the greatest OL in CFL history through FA and we've lost a number of really good ones over the last few years.
  23. I felt the same when O'Shea was talked about as a potential HC after only 3 seasons as a ST coach and that seemed to workout well. Any new HC is going to have a learning curve but almost all of the guys being mentioned have a lot more coaching experience than MOS. JY also has had the benefit of working under MOS so he might be the best bet to slide in without it being a complete teardown/rebuild.
