  1. JT is going to have Dru running for his life! 😂
  2. Yes, listed as practicing fully on Tuesday and Wednesday but went got extended on the 6 game on Thursday.
  3. He was re-upped on the 6 game list about a week and a half ago so he's not eligible to practice anymore. Don't think it was ever mentioned here (or in the media) though.
  4. Sounds like this is what Younger wants: Hogan: "It's humbling. It's an awesome experience." - Winnipeg Blue Bombers
  5. I used to believe that but I haven't seen anything recently that gives me that confidence. Unlike MOS thinking he still has 2019 Strevy, I don't believe we have the 2019 Trinity.
  6. Wonder if Walters would try to poach him (assuming he's awake & would notice this move). 2025-09-16 MTL HOLLINS, Alexander WR A Eastern Illinois TRF TO PRACTICE ROSTER Practice Roster
  7. Ferguson decided to throw Lirim on there, knowing he doesn't have a legit shot at MOC. If it was a true top 5 list, I'm sure BO would have been there (or should have been). Lirim (and a few other guys) should have been put in an honorable mention category, IMO.
  8. I would also suggest to the people finding the negativity unbearable, that they are more than welcome to provide some positive topics to discuss. I'll start - can we celebrate Nic Demski for a minute? He seems to be getting better with age & is on pace for a career season right now (sitting at 882 receiving yards and his current average would have him around 1220 yards after a full season). He's only a few yards behind McInnis (888 yds) for the top Canadian receiver despite the quality of QB'ing we've had this season. Knock on wood that he can stay healthy and keep it going this year.
  9. He also has Parkinson's, not just dementia so he could possibly have been approved based on that diagnosis. The catch to mental health issues and MAID is that he has to choose to do it while he is still competent. If he waits too long, he won't have the capacity to choose to go through with it. Better too soon than to late is what it comes down to.
  10. Or even signing guys to future deals would be nice. Ottawa, for example, signed a QB a couple weeks ago so they could kick tires a bit, saw something they liked so they signed him to a futures deal for next season. They released him from the PR so now they can bring someone else in to take a look at - maybe for this year or maybe for next year. Either way, they aren't standing pat.
  11. Doesn't look planned but it looks like both the coaches and players recognized what was happening. This video (11:20 mark) shows one Hamilton defender briefly stop near Wheatfall and then keeps going towards the sideline (maybe thinking the other Ticat right behind him will be covering the receiver?). Once both guys are going past him, Wheatfall starts waving to Strevy, who also saw that Wheatfall was wide open. At the 11:30 mark, there's a sideline view showing Osh also trying to get Strevy's attention.
  12. It's pretty noticeable how inactive we are compared to other teams in this aspect, if you look at the CFL transaction page or the social media account that tracks neg list changes. The Bombers show up there way less than other teams so it gives the impression we are satisfied with who they have (or who they want to have, in the case of the neg list players).
  13. Nah, he's just as bad. He tried to go after Dinwiddie but Mital shoved him away before he could do anything. Killam said he was just frustrated with the loss but if he controls his bench better during the game, none of that happens.
  14. Shouldn't but this club loves to do the same thing over and over. We piss away cap space on players who rarely if ever get a chance to contribute so what does it matter if it's QB3, WR, LB or any other position?
  15. Why not? Look at what we are paying for Mitchell or Jones.
  16. 4 sacks in 2 games now for Kongbo.
  17. They have a (rookie) HC who was willing to acknowledge things (Ford) weren't working as they'd hoped so they made a change (Fajardo) and look what's happened for them.
  18. In a home Grey Cup year. Heads should roll if that happens.
  19. Not sure about Kramdi but Holm certainly didn't beat anybody out - it was an injury that got him pencilled in as a starter. In his case, he didn't start until September 17th in 2022. Hallett and Taylor got hurt the week before, in the Banjo Bowl so Holm got bumped up (BA came off the IR as the other replacement).
  20. Nobody expects a coach, certainly not this one, to throw a player under the bus but his inaction (ie: not willing to staple some players to the bench) gives the impression he's ok with their performance. He might be the only person who watched the game and feels that way.
  21. And one to a completely wide open wheatfall.
  22. You're thinking of Reggie White Jr.
  23. For him, not getting torched is cause for celebration!
