The preview for next week shows that they still have both dragons. Cersei's answer is those giant crossbows that Qyburn had made. The producers added the crossbows to the intro scene - firing a bolt into a dragon skull, so I'm assuming that they will play a factor in the battle as they like to drop hints in there.

1) I definitely agree with Johnzo that Bran was trying to lure the Night King out. Nothing else I've read really makes sense. 2) The Hound definitely has more to his story. Similar to Jamie, the redemption is one part but dealing with an evil sibling is the other. 3) I dont think she goes north as she doesn't know what would be waiting for her. If the dead won, they would have an even bigger army than before so leaving the safety of kings landing to rush in, is probably not the best move. 4) Most of the characters left still have some story left because until late last season, their goal was kings landing so now they get back to it. My biggest issues was that we never really got to see the night king fight. His white walkers were pretty useless in the end too except for handing him spears to throw. Hell Sam took one out so they weren't all that different from their wights.

Enjoyed the GOT episode. I guess my TV is new enough that the darkness wasn't an issue for me... didn't even realize it was a problem till I saw it trending on twitter. For people who have not seen the episode yet, I'll put some other thoughts behind the spoiler feature

My problem isn't so much the bailouts because of the consequences of them failing but allowing those same companies to reward their exec's with huge salaries and bonuses doesn't sit well.

Who said anything about Dana? I do agree with not believing what he says though. The gate for the event was about 780k which, for a fight night, is above average. The card a week earlier in Fresno had a gate of 570k & Virginia a month earlier earned 640k. If you're strictly comparing it to the ppv event from years earlier, then yes it would be a disappointment but that's an apples/oranges comparison. If you compare it to other fight night cards across the continent, then it was actually a bit of a success.

It wasn't. It was a fight night card that sold just under 9k tickets which was their 2nd biggest North American crowd that year (for fight night cards anyway). The event went well, the card didn't get decimated by injuries and the fights (for the most part) delivered.

Went over poorly with who? Immediately after the event, UFC officials said they were very happy with the way things went. They might not be back for a few years but that doesn't mean much. There are a lot of places that aren't getting shows like they used to (look at Toronto & Montreal for example).

Haven't heard any rumblings about them coming back this year. They are shooting for 3 events in Canada this year but only have Ottawa (May 4th) announced. They had mentioned Vancouver & Quebec as possible sites so it wouldn't seem likely that we're the next stop.

Avengers Saturday night and a big GOT episode on Sunday! Looking forward to this weekend.

He recently confirmed the ending will be the same for both the show & the books. I know a lot of people who have trouble with the books (same with Tolkien stuff), and I always recommend they try the audiobook versions if they can.

Haha hearing about a sex scene might be a bit jarring seeing how young she was at that point in the series.

When I heard the opponent, I was underwhelmed. It felt like an easy pick and maybe they were hoping they would have had someone else signed by now. Then I watched that promo vid! So well done, I went from zero interest to really looking forward to it.

If/when that happens, life in general will be much more enjoyable!

Montreal has been terrible no matter what they did though.

It could be that Snoke wasn't wounded as much as his body was distorted by the sheer power that was being transferred into him. In the Star Wars EU, Palpatine moved his essence into cloned bodies but the power of the dark side was so strong that the bodies broke down at an accelerated rate so he had to keep moving from clone to clone. Could be something similar with Snoke.

Not a bad idea to float the idea out there and see what kind of offers you get. Certain GM's out there might be looking to move back into the 1st round after some terrible trades (hello Kavis!). If they want to make another terrible trade or two in exchange for one or both of our picks, I'm sure Kyle will be willing to listen.
