Anybody here (especially Rider fans) can grade out Bob Dyce performace as the Riders ST Coordinator. I believe there's a lot of question on him taking over the Riders ST prior the start of the season.
-
Might that not indicate that they were unsatisfied with Dyce as OC and went on the search for someone better? Just as likely probably more so! 2010-2011 Riders has Doug Berry and Bob Dyce as OC's .
-
Howell as DB coach, Im ok. Not as Receivers coach and certainly not as ST coach.
-
Yea Trestman honeymoon is over in Chicago but if he's fired I suspect he will land an OC job in the NFL.
-
Thorpe signed an extension with Montreal, he aint going anywhere and Garcia? Please, he has less experience than every other guy listed, he's not even the OC in montreal. Want a realistic name? Marcus Howell. Rumor is Millanovich will be out of Toronto by the end of the season. Not interested on extending there because of problems cause by ownership questions. And don't be fooled by recent success of the Montreal club, Higgins is still on a rocky boat and I wont be surprised if they do another revamp this winter. Popp will get his has hands on Millanovich the moment he becomes available, past relationship and success is hard to take for granted. Calvillo might plunge to the coaching waters next year and it would be an easy transition serving as QB coach / offensive assistant under his former OC. Thorpe may stay with the Als but I woudnt be surprised if Millanovich bring Burke with him. Markus Howell? I'm not sure if I would like him to be the next OC. He can't even coach our receivers well. I'll be more willing to brought Bob Dyce back to Winnipeg who has at least an experience as a passing game coordinator, to be the OC.
-
Other names I'll be interested are Thorpe (DC) and Garcia (OC).

Another angle I'm looking at it is.... Maybe (just maybe) Oshea accepted the fact that Bombers is a stretch to make the playoff and decided to use the remaining games to get a look on the other guys hence they informed Grigsby that he will sit again. This maybe the reason why Grigsby, said "who quit?" Grigsby may have thought he has a chance to be picked up by other teams (and play post regular season) did not accept what the Bombers have offered and chose to be released.

This statement has me puzzled. Maybe he mean we have a legit QB (Willy) and an able backup (Brohm) jus t like the Stamps.
-
I want to see Leggett do some returns too.
-
He kinda remind me of Jarvis and Knapp a year ago.
-
As I said before If Walters can flip Watson for a starter Cdn OL, I'll be for that. - We need to trade asset for asset. - We need a big help on the OL. - Watson is always on the tub. - He maybe a game-changer but he hasn't since he comes back.
-
It didn't happened because we are starting 3 OL.
-
I'd like to see other players as well like... Gibson, Smith, Markett and Dumas.
-
Honestly the biggest underperformance of the season. I predicted Smith was going to do some good things this season. The first thought I had in seeing this was why did it take so long? obviously, they are afraid another team will pick him up and bite them back. With what he's demonstrated thus far with his play? I'm not sure I'd be afraid of a) him getting picked up and/or getting picked up and having any sort of bite. I could be wrong though, maybe he'd shine somewhere else in this league but I'm not betting much. Higgins & co. just being paranoid.

Can he play running back? I believe that since he was released after the trade deadline, no teams can pick him up. I could be wrong though.
-
Aside from Dyce as OC.Other names I will be interested with for the OC - Jarious Jackson and/or Jason Maas.
-
I like him. Rumor is Milanovich wont re-up in Tor I think Popp will scoop him up and we may see Burke tagging along with him. If that's the case I'll be interested with Thorpe too. In house, Tracy may be a good candidate for DC and I want Oshea took over the ST. For OC, I am interested with Bob Dyce.

Time to sell and get some picks to load our Canadian talent next draft. Any imports should be available at the right price.

Ed Tait @WFPEdTait 5m5 minutes ago Breaking news: doesn't look like Cory Watson will practice for the #Bombers today. But Troy Stoudemire is in gear. #bn

We should just traded them Buck Pierce. Walters missed on that one again.
-
the trade for Gibson and signing of Moseley and Booker is due to Vega and Frazer being injured. Wilson and and Lawrence is probably just for a look-see and guys may get an invite next years TC if show some promise. although we are not really that good on our import rec positions except for Denamrk. Moore is in and out off the lineup. Kelly's play is on and off. Bryant is washed up. So we need find and upgrade there. Anderson, Tyler and Daniels is for the musical chair on our OL. I wouldnt be surprised if in one this game January will sit in favor of Jones, Anderson or Daniels. I actually got a feeling that January is on the trading block. Yeah, yeah he's our best OL as someone would say it but I dont agree with it. To me. the best OL we have currently is Greaves and Morley (yes Morley). I agree we need to see some RBs but still the question is will these current coaching staff will give this new guys their chance on the field?
-
7 import OLs now... January, Jones, Knapp, Howard, Anderson, Tyler and Daniels any possibilities one of them will be on the outs ?

His injury is a blessing in disguise for the Bombers. I'm hoping Wild is back and Kromah can be inserted somehow.
