  1. that 65 does not include the non-counters.How many non counter are there, like 3 or 4?We have at least 8 - Chungh, Richards, Morgan, Normand, Lattanzio, Warden, Yantz and Waggoner.I'm not sure if Griffiths and Reaves count as non-counters. Wow I didn't realize it was that high. So we could still see 10+ cuts. Can't see them keeping/hiding any more than 8-10 on the IR. I can see them sending Morgan and Warden back to university. And maybe Lattanzio too since he's learning a new position. Depending on what will happen to either Marve/Portis, Yantz will probably end up in IR or PR.

  3. that 65 does not include the non-counters. roster count is 74 right now. need to cut 18 players on Saturday. I'm assuming some of those will go to the IR.
  4. We're met the 65-limit already. This Saturday is the final cutdown date to 46-man active + 10-man practice roster and injury roster
  5. Thanks Oh Captain, my Captain.
  6. Would like to see some insights on the remaining battles at camps ... RB, WIL, WR (besides Moore), SB (besides Denmark) and probably weakside HB (Washington's) I'm guessing the starting MLB(Hurl), RG (Chungh), RT (Daniels) and import DE Peach) are all settled.
  7. In case of West, "you can't make the club from the tab", he hasn't been on the field since the start of TC. Bauming speculates he will stick around.
  8. Last year's ST Captain, I believe... Unfortunate for us. Pontbriand is last years ST captain. I believe. I got a feeling this year it will be Chad Rempel.
  9. I don't like Greg Peach, but with a lot of guys competing for his spot, he obviously elevated his play. Tad Gibson or Derrell Johnson may still end up as the DI on DL.
  10. the S.Brown cut has the makings of "this will come back to hunt us" like S.Lemon.
  11. I thought S.Brown has impressed in pre-season. Same as Tuinei. Does Quinn Everett got a look as DL in TC?
  12. Wpg Blue Bombers ✔ @Wpg_BlueBombers Defensive End Derrell Johnson has left the team for family matters. There is no timetable on his return. #Bombers Darren Cameron @Darren_Cameron Derrell Johnson has returned home to deal with a family situation. He is still on the roster, however, no timetable for his return is known
  13. Gbill, how was Addison Richard in practice this morning ?
  14. Lapo as OC = good. HC = no thank you. In fairness though, any coaches will be bad if you have Joe Mack as GM.
  15. Edmonton Eskimos ✔ @EdmontonEsks Transactions #Esks Release: LB Shane Horton OL Tyson Pencer WR Marcus Rucker
  16. The release of Allen and Lamar are both surprises. I thought at least one of them will make it. I guess Khalil Bass make the cut.
  17. Ed Tait ✔ @WFPEdTait Interesting. Was apparently off an extension in Dec and turned it down. Club told by his agent he wanted to try NFL.
  18. If he really want to stay here, then, sign the extension. That's simple.
  19. Damage control, perhaps?
  20. I hope Edmonton picks him.
  21. Looking at their roster.... they have Nic Grigsby and Jeff Scott (Mississippi) as healthy import RBs and CO Prime as FB. Gable, Madu and Woodson (I believe) are currently injured.
  22. I didn't really see him do much other then that 16 yard run. But when you're spreading 17 carries amongst 5 guys it's hard to judge. Anderson only got 2 carries and Cotton didn't show well, but again...3 carries or so, hard to say. Our best rusher last night was Marve. This is our answer. Cut all RBs and convert No Knee Marve to RB Boom. Not a bad idea.
  23. Impossible to rank Anderson that high ... he had ONE carry as a running back, we haven't seen anywhere near enough work. However, the return game is where he created value for himself. I don't think he's at the bottom anymore, he's put his name in the discussion. But now he at least deserves another opportunity against Hamilton, in my opinion. It's also possible that Marshall is now the #1 RB and the #2 is up for grabs between Anderson and Cotton.
  24. The roster currently has 85 people on it. Yeah, you're right my sheet is wrong. Anyways, I figured some guys will go to the IR like - Stoudermire, Neufeld, Dile and West (what's the deal with him?) So my list would be RB Randle (or RB Scott) FB Cronk (or FB Fritz) DB Hall DB Kearney DB Franks LB Taylor There. That'd be a lot of money to put on the 1 game IR right off the bat. Stoudermire, is sure on the IR. Not sure on Dile and Neufeld but it's not impossible that they are actually nicked (and not on 'vet dayoff) given their health history. West, I don't know. If they want to have an extended look on some bubble guys on the final tune-up game, then they can chose to do what I have suggested, that's extra 4 guys to look at.
