I don't think he will be leaving his 7 figure NCAA pay cheque any time soon... but I would be curious to see what he can do in the CFL today... I believe that the CFL has no salary cap yet the last time he was here. I'm not sure about the import/non-import ratio. Those are the challenges he has to face if he comes back to the CFL. I'll be interested to see him as HC or probably Assistant GM/HC to make use of his connection in US college football programs. But not as a GM or GM/HC though.

What if O'Shea actually asked the help of Wade Miller to talk to this 'assistant coach' that Penton is talking? Maybe Wade Miller offered his help since he has experience in hiring/recruiting. I got a feeling that what Penton wrote, was taken out of context. Btw, I wonder who's this 'assistant coach' Wade Miller is talking to... Khari Jones? ... Bob Dyce?

Yup. So no sense of being excited about these guys they bringing. It's all for a look-see and gauging their interest to play for the CFL. I still think some of these guys will be invited to next year's mini-camp in the US.

His scouting report looks bad. Why do we keep bringing in these athletic guys who have issues with accuracy and reading defenses? We're looking for the next Brian Brohm.

If Hufnagel becomes available... will he chose to be a GM/HC for the Bombers over the Riders or the Lions? If Trestman becomes available... will he chose to be a HC for the Bombers over the Allouettes? Will Benivedes choose to be a HC for the Bombers if he will be offered by Hufnagel to be his DC? Will LaPolice choose to comeback with the Bombers and get fired again after 2 years?

For all the people yapping about firing OShea please name a veteran CFL coach that will realistically come and pick Winnipeg over any other CFL opportunities and can realistically turn over this franchise? This is a straight and honest question. I wouldnt mind firing OShea if there is someone better will replace him. I really would hope Huff or Trestman would be available but I dont think they will choose Winnipeg over any other CFL opportunity. Huff might choose Sask or BC while Trestman will go back to Montreal.
