I wonder if the Bombers will bring Michael Ritchott in training camp this year. He's the Winnipeg Rifles RB, who people says plays and run like Andrew Harris. He will come as a territorial exempt and a non-counter for sure.

I figured it will be a battle between the three - Smith, Stafford & Denmark - for the #3 & #4 receiver spot. New receivers will figure on that battle as well. Ditto between the DI DE between - Cole, Green & Jeffcoat and new DE's being brought. Ditto MAC between - Knox, Temple & W.Smith.

You need a backup RB. Currently, we dont have a Nat to play there. I would think Walters will pick a RB on the middle to late rounds on this years CFL draft. To add, we have a ton of Nat LBs, we normally carry 5 last year and who knows Will Smith might be the starting MAC comes Week2.

I'm thinking about that too. I wouldn't mind a draft pick.

Still a long ways to go but if I put the 44-man roster today, it will look like this... OFFENSE: Nichols, Davis, LeFevour Harris, Flanders, Normand Bryant Bond Goossen, Couture Chungh Hardrick Adams Dressler Stafford, Coates Smith Feoli-Gudino, Richards DEFENSE: Westerman, Corney Nevis Thomas, Butcher Okpalaugo, Green Wild, Waggonner, Briggs, Renaud Knox, Hurl, Gauthier, Rush Leggett Randle, Jones Johnson, Fogg Loffler Heath Frederick SPECIALISTS: Medlock Remple (Fogg) National DI Very minimal turnover from last year. Not a lot holes as you would think but if we could get an upgrade here in there, this team looks good. Of course, I didn't put the new guys.

I really agree good tackling is most important tgan measurables but a 220ish LB will lose steam by the start of the 4th being pounded by 246 RB all gane long, imo.

Sorry for that. But Im done seeing our MLBs being bulldozed by Messam.

Bear Woods is 240ish LB. If Jeffcoat can shed 10lbs and play MLB, I dont mind it. Hes size will be a big presence in tge middle of the D.

Free Agency Performance: GM Walters
Herdman will definitely get a NFL deal but that wont stop Jones from drafting him. See Onyemata.

Jones will take Herdman or Gray at #2. Book it.

Free Agency Performance: GM Walters
Technically, Nevis will replace Shologan @ NT. Thomas, Butcher (or Ankou) will replace Cummings (3T). At least that how I understand it. That's why I thought Jabar W (or even Donny O) fits here but thats moot now.

Where in the West would you rank ______ ?
Riders receiver will go as far as Glenn goes. If Glenn goes down, no one will throw them the ball.

Free Agency Performance: GM Walters
I voted "Somewhat Satisfied" I would like the Bombers to make a run for some "high-end" players but they either have no interest or the $$$ doesn't make sense for them. Although, they've landed some free-agent to issue some need - Okpalaugo, Nevis, LeFevour and depth - Stafford, Denmark, Hurl & Coates. Walters, has been very vocal about imitating how Huff & Co is doing their business and I think he is very true to his word. And I realized that as this Bombers team moves toward this direction and get more and more confident in their own scouting and drafting process the lesser we see action during free-agency. To me, that's more important.
