I would think most (if not all) of Argo's free-agent will be going to free-agency. Maybe Coombs is feeling sorry he re-sgined with them already. Diontae Spencer is a nice pickup if we can't re-sign McDuffie. Bryan Hall is a nice pickup if we cant re-sign Cummings. Van Roten is a very good OL and can play all position on the line. Dupuis is a good replacement for Tuck.

Good thing we signed Walters & O'Shea long term. Chamblin is available.

Could it be possible that Costello will be promoted to the OL coach & they're hiring someone who will assist him? If that's the case January is not a bad choice. I still would like them to bring Jonathan Himebauch.

Im actually expecting them to run their money on Shakir Bell. And Im expecting Bell to make it to free agency.

I would really like to see a debate between Aardvark & Migs... I think it would be very entertaining.

Walter's Priorities Part 2
Wild or Bass - I'll pick Bass anytime. With all due respect to Wild.

I wonder if the Bombers are interested in Tristan Okpalaugo, he's currently a free-agent. Though I'm not sure if the knee injury he suffered is that serious. He's just 27.

Maximum Value for our 1st & 5th picks
I think I would rather pickup Van Zeyl in free agency than doing that.

I wouldnt be surprised if Jones will overpay for Franklin. They have 10 picks in this coming CFL draft. I think he's willing to give up half of those just to get Franklin anyways he can always steal Nat players off others club. Just like what he did last year with BC.

CFL Free Agents/Coaches
Other pending free-agent WR are : Graves (MTL), MacDonnell (OTT), Durie (TOR), Aprile (HAM), Coates (HAM), Fantuz (HAM), Charbonneau-Campeau (CGY), Adjei (EDM), Bailey (EDM), Getzlaf (EDM), Iannuzzi (BC) . Some might re-sign with their clubs prior to free-agency. It's gonna be slim pickings there so wont be surprise to see Kohlert re-signed since he's familliar with Lapo's system already. But I think we will see 5-internationals as starters in our receiving corps. .

If not Nichols, who would you like to see as our QB in 2017?
I wonder what this trade do to Walters-Nichols talk. On one hand, Nichols has the leverage to ask for more money since theres no better QB available. On the other hand, there's no other place with better opportunity for him but Winnipeg, so thats a leverage for Walters.
