North American Championship? What's this for? Just another midcard title... or something like the UK championship? Or does this replace the US Title? Anyways I think it looks okay. I hate how "standardized" all the belts have become... they all look the damn same! Maybe but the guys on the pre-show probably wouldn't have a place on the main show so they can complain about performing in front of less people or they can complain about sitting in the back doing nothing.

In what way are they rushing Comrie? By giving him a chance? He's had 3 seasons in the AHL and he played one game for the Jets last season. This year he has played three. That's not rushing. He got shelled... well too bad, that's part of becoming an NHL goalie and if he has the right mindset it will only make him better in the long run.

No they didn't but at the same time I don't need to hear a guy speak when he's down. As far as I'm concerned if he's in the AHL he doesn't owe anyone a soundbite. His play was also outstanding with the Moose so that shows a good attitude towards the game itself. That said, it's still a bit of a shitty attitude. A true professional doesn't act that way publicly.

That guy is being a ****. Rather than admitting he botched his stupid question and correcting himself, he acts all exasperated like it's her fault. She didn't misunderstand the question at all... that implies the question made sense in the first place. He had a chance to correct himself and still spits out "Would you go back in time and fight again?"

He's been acting like a crybaby all year, refusing interviews, claiming the Jets never gave him a real shot in all his time here, etc. I don't think that's at play here though. I think the Jets and Hutch both know he won't be back so they are letting Comrie and Mason run with the backup job.

That's a huge gamble and history is not on the government's side when it comes to disputes with Indigenous people. Hydro has a whole division dedicated to creating and maintaining relationships with First Nations because it is financially disastrous when things break down. This isn't an isolated case where Hydro can just say "**** you guys" and walk away. The relationship has to be a strong one or Hydro is totally handcuffed.

So fight it in court for years and end up paying far more anyways. Nice.

When you are talking about lawsuits between First Nations and the government, $70 million is actually not a large sum. What will be the cost of legal fees and lost profits? And that's before any eventual settlement is factored in. This is just ****-measuring by the government. "Oh we shouldn't have to pay." This is Canada. You pay First Nations for everything. Fight it in court at your own peril.

It's actually not about Bipole III. Bipole III is more or less complete. This is about a transmission line that will run from Manitoba to Minnesota. Basically allowing excess power generated by Keeyask to be exported to the States. We just don't have the capacity to do that right now so the excess power won't be able to be sold without this line. Every day it gets delayed means we are losing money.
