Likely will never be champion but she is very funny and actually quite good in the ring. Knows her role and plays it perfectly. I could do without all the screaming but that's a complaint I've had for years about many "divas"... I'm grateful I don't have to listen to Summer Rae wailing in the ring anymore.

All guys who have dominated at the AHL level. It's difficult to compare league-to-league, of course, because they never actually play against each other. But it is pretty well-accepted that the KHL is a higher level than the AHL. The KHL tends to make big money offers to top AHL guys who are no longer on NHL deals. I'm sure the two leagues are close in talent level but I'm fairly confident saying KHL is a cut above.

There were still complications with the 'Knights' name. London owns the rights to it in Canada (OHL team) and although it could be used in the US, they could potentially face opposition from the University of Central Florida Knights.

Not so sure about that. The level of play in the KHL is easily higher than the AHL and most of these guys are KHL players and in some cases KHL star players. Then again the Moose are the best team in the AHL. Would be interesting.

I'm all for bashing Buffalo but I don't think it's fair to say Armia was on a downward trajectory. He was playing well in his second year in the AHL at the time of the trade.

I bet we see two of Leggett, Randle and Heath sign the day before free agency and the remaining one walks.

Phil Housley is in way over his head there. They need a Darryl Sutter, Randy Carlyle type of guy who is not going to tolerate insolence.

Depends what you mean. Like enforce an age limit on the tournament? Or just Canada sends the juniors while other teams are free to send pros? Because the team that Canada is sending would dominate the gold medal winning juniors. The best of the AHL/KHL/Euro leagues would stomp any junior team.

Don't know about that but I always seemed to run into him in the bathroom at the Palamino club for some reason. I guess he just had an active bladder or something.

There are only six forwards, three defencemen, and two goalies per all star team, and every team in the division must be represented. So only four teams in the Central could even have a second representative. Expecting three or more from the Jets is unrealistic. Tarasenko isn't even on the team.

And the fact that everyone knew Kane had to go, and that he was injured at the time.... it's just insane that Chevy was able to get the return that he did.

No it's actually quite simple. If I see a play called PI in one game, and then an almost identical play not called PI in the next game, that is a problem. I don't care what the definition of PI is as long as it is applied consistently. This is the problem. There is no way to spin this. I watch both leagues obsessively. I love the CFL. I'm not trying to tear it down here. CFL officiating is worse. Objectively. And it needs to get better... replay included.

The whole thing is way overblown. Ask players what city is their least favourite to go to in the NHL.... well yeah Winnipeg is a pretty obvious answer. They're not going to pick Dallas, Anaheim or NYC.

What game were you watching all season? Even after review it was a crapshoot whether a call would be PI or not. It was totally inconsistent.

NFL refs do make bad calls sometimes but from watching both leagues pretty extensively I'm comfortable saying the problem is far worse in the CFL. It's the consistency of calls. I know what PI is in the NFL. In the CFL, I usually have no idea.
