  1. Not convinced we're getting the full story here. I'd have to see the full extent of the harassment. Not prepared to take the author's word for it as she has clearly made up her mind already.
  2. Yeah Denmark is just making big catches. Actually not targeted that often it would seem.
  3. Good point. Ladd is also the captain and coming off the best year of his career.
  4. Huge deal for Kesler. Are there implications here for the Jets? 5. Emmanuel "Arsenio Hall" Arceneaux
  6. I think Marshall is going to shine as the season wears on
  7. I'm just wondering in our society if there is any precedence for something being "banned". What does "banned" even mean?
  8. Honest question, is any kind of symbol actually illegal? Like, say, a swastika, could I be arrested for wearing a big swastika shirt?
  9. No one said its a crime. You said no one is talking about banning it but obviously that's not true if Amazon banned it.
  10. That's your opinion, but its not everyone's argument. Many people are calling for an outright ban of the Confederate flag. For example Amazon pulled all items displaying the Confederate flag. But you can still buy an Xbox controller branded with a swastika. Go figure!
  11. Funny stuff. Now do the 2023-2024 lineup.
  12. I really hate trying to pass this game off as luck. Yeah it wasn't pretty but they worked hard for that win and I don't think it was luck at all. The Adam int was a good defensive play. He read the pass and made a break on it. The Randle INT was just a bad decision by Cato, but bad decisions happen in football all the time. The punt block was a hard work play by the special teams. They brought some heat and it paid off. The D still has issues but they gutted it out and did make some stops when they had to. I would call this a character win more than a lucky win. Yes I would have to agree with this. The Bombers won because they made plays... not because the Als were shooting themselves in the foot or anything. I would add that the Randle INT was a bad decision by Cato but he had a ton of pressure in his face from the Bombers D so that's a credit to them as well.
  13. They are comparing Chamblin to Greg Marshall now. It's awesome. Full scale meltdown.
  14. Lots of flags but I can't help but blame the players rather than the refs. I'm seeing a lot of flags but I find myself saying "Ya okay, that was a penalty" on pretty much all of them. I truly do hate the flags but I don't know what you do. Just let the penalties slide?
  15. What do you know? You were drunk by the end of the first quarter!
  16. And if you don't agree you don't know anything about football.
  17. You wouldn't have to make it a policy. They are already working the food lines at homeless shelters here. What you should do is make it a policy that all NDP-voting dope-smoking welfare sucking able-bodied men over the age of 18 should get off their lazy arses and go work at homeless shelters. I've got two neighbours I would love to see on a food line helping out the homeless, instead of staring at a video-game screen all day in mommy's basement with a bong glued to their face. Don't be ridiculous. There are plenty of dope-smoking able-bodied men that aren't on welfare. of course there are. They just don't happen to live near me I guess. But if you just want to target "right wing curmudgeons" for work on homeless shelter food lines, why not also target lazy sacks who are able-bodied and just sitting at home self-medicating too? I think the more pertinent question is whether being right wing makes you a curmudgeon, or if being a curmudgeon naturally leads to being right wing?
  18. Matt Dunigan is totally unlike the rest of us. He's got far more knowledge into the subject than anyone here...even you. And yet you all discount the doctor he has partnered with for ThinkFirst. Too funny. Believe what you want to believe.

  20. I think Ellerby signed somewhere else didn't he? Perhaps Europe?
  21. I think Postma is a good guy to have around as depth. He is used to playing in the NHL at this point and he can step into a top 4 type of role if one of our guys go down. I'm more comfortable with him on the second PP unit than I would be with say, Chiarot, Stu, Harrison, or Pardy.
  22. This is the kind of day where I will slam a couple double cheeseburgers from McD's in my car on the way home from work, quickly change, and then run out the door to head to the game. I don't mind it to be honest, sucks for those who can't get off work early though.
  23. Bryant Turner meets Rakeem Cato in the backfield
  24. Eskimo d-line looks like it might be the best in the league this year and they will get far on that alone. Nichols will probably lose some games for them... but they can win with him if the rest of the team plays well. Their o-line is seriously questionable right now too.
  25. Ottawa looks like last season
