Funny story...17to85 and I have been talking about getting into Scotch. He got a bottle from his folks for Christmas and we're just trying to see who's got the nerve to try it first. I like the *idea* of being a Scotch guy....

I think it's a fool's errand to declare the off season a success or failure without having played a single meaningful game...

I was in my 4th year at Brandon during this season and have vivid memories of watching or listening to every game that season. More than our share of late night noise violations in the dorm during a late game at BC. I believe we even made the trek to Wpg for one of the games vs Hamilton. That Bolden pick of McManus in the EF is forever etched on my brain.

Nobody's debating the die-hards here...it's the casual fans who are going to take awhile to come back. They need to see wins...

I think anyone who's followed this team was expecting this to happen at some point. It will take time to rebuild the casual fans who make up the other 10k in tix. It'll come in time...

Last year we sat with Coorsman Chad up in the north end zone and I couldn't get over how close to the action we were, even up at the top. Phenomenal seats everywhere. My only beef last year was how jammed the concourse gets before the game.

What's Barley Brothers? Is that like a brew pub? Sounds interesting. Coorsman lives near that location, so we might have to pop in when we're home this summer...

Wish I coulda been home for the Wpg Beer Fest. We go to the Calgary one every year and it's amazing. So awesome to test out all the different craft beers/micro brews that are out there.

Definitely going to be fighters. Could be like the 2010 WBB that lost a ton of close games and found a way to turn those close losses into wins the following year. As long as they're competitive and showing effort in every game, I'm good with that as a baby step in the right direction.

So 17to85 and I are going to attempt to watch it on my phone during the reception, if I can get some damn WiFi in the hall.
