I could go for some sunshine but the temps are decent enough that I don't have to go with the full ice fishing gear...

Everyone deserves more respect than is often dishes out around here to various players and coaches. And, again, to be perfectly clear about it, that includes me.... I know I've been guilty of it.

So here's what I actually meant... I'm (almost) as guilty as anyone for talking **** online about guys in a pretty cavalier manner, that can make it seem like we're advocating for someone to get fired and not be able to provide for their family... And that's not right. It's good sometimes to gain a bit of perspective and realize these aren't just video game characters... They're real people. They're (by and large) very nice people. They're (generally) trying as hard as they can to do the right thing out on the field and in the community.

I guarantee they're just the nicest guys on the planet. **** all the noise here.

Random TD MB stuff from Sat... It sounds like the start of a joke, but Koala, Jake, Stan, Lapo and O'Day all together by the bar.... Wondering if JOD wants another C....? Stan is just a really big dude... Like not at all fat, but just big.... Koala and Jake were together every time I saw either of them tonight and I chuckled thinking about what MBB would say about that... There really is a cockroach infestation in our fine city and we desperately need the Als to beat them down like it's the 2023 Banjo Bowl all over again...

Vive Les Alouettes! A sound drubbing by the Als is what we need to rid this city of the cockroach infestation. Gillingham needs to call Poulins on Monday to just fog the whole city.

Talked to Osh for a bit tonight at TD MB... Classic answers "We need to be better... And we will be...". Ha ha. I chuckled at the non answer of it all. I'm definitely very interested in Walters presser whenever that happens.

I said before and I'll say it again... Dickie was granted the opportunity to fix a FAR WORSE mess, and he hasn't earned half of what Osh has. We'll know PDQ whether or not Walters and Osh have learned their lessons. I am forever the optimist and am already looking forward to what should be a very productive offseason...

He is absolutely not from Toronto... Winnipeg is actually more like his actual home town than Toronto is...

Curious that it's only Osh mentioned as a re-up so far....

I read somewhere yesterday that the Bombers have an offer on the table for him, and told him to field as many other offers as he wants, but to come back and talk and they'd be waiting.

I think there will be a mass exodus to follow him wherever he goes.... But it remains to be seen if that isn't necessarily a good thing.

Some mildly interesting stuff on Bonfire last night.... Bauming indicated that O'Shea very much "runs things at Princess Auto Stadium"... That he's the one who is in charge of everything. Re: Kent Austin and why he would leave a cushy job in the NCAA, apparently he has expressed interest to people in the CFL about coming back again, according to Farhan Lalji. Farhan seemed to think he'd be a good fit in Winnipeg having played here before, but also said that Jordan Younger would be a good choice as well, and might be the only way to keep him from returning to Toronto with Osh.

Also thought it interesting that the East didn't get a single player nod tonight. Not even Pate or Gaudaur.

How close to being a starter is Vibert? He's a natural C, no?

Literally just signed a contract extension like two weeks ago. Not going anywhere for a long time.

I dunno... Not saying what's right or wrong but the general vibe so far at the various Grey Cup Week parties (we've been wandering room to room) is that people really want Osh to stay. I don't think the hate has trickled down from the ravenous mob yet. It might get there yet, but it's not there as of now from what I can tell...

Why would Faj not be the starting QB in Edm next year? I ******* hate the guy, but they were a more than competent team with him in charge.

He does a great job on Handled Internally... No surprise at all that he's doing this. He'll be awesome.

There are approximately 50 posts about this so far.... Most logical answer so far is JY, if for no other reason than to keep him from jumping to TO as Osh's DC. Every single team in the league, with the exception of Ottawa, would toss their guy for Osh if he said he'd come there....
