Permission to talk: Is O'Shea leaving?
This is my concern... People are so ******* spoiled after the last decade, they have no idea how bad it can get. If we make ONE wrong move After Osh (trademarking "AO" as a demarcation "thing") we are so ****** and back to Mack/Burke 2013....

Permission to talk: Is O'Shea leaving?
Who the Christ is Howard Berger? And I'm betting the only difference between Bombers offer and anyone else is autonomy... Which may also be no difference, but IF there's a difference it'll be that. Maybe Wade said "changes..." And everyone else says "do what you want".... That would be the only thing.

Permission to talk: Is O'Shea leaving?
Well if others were getting offered a 100k raise from other teams then maybe they'd have been allowed to walk as well. Yoshi would have been a Bomber forever of he wasn't getting a league high contract to be a non blindside tackle. All things are not equal.

Permission to talk: Is O'Shea leaving?
Bombers have routinely said they'll never stand in anyone's way so this permission means nothing other than the bombers continue to do the right thing as an organization....

What in Christ's good name are you talking about? Writing on the wall? 1 year contracts? He's never signed less than a 3 year deal....

My issue with all of that is nobody here has ANY idea who's to blame for any of it... It's absolutely possible that all the problems are Oshs fault as Booch insists... But we really don't know who's making what decisions. At the end of the day, the biggest problem might be that Osh is giving people too much freedom and he needs to take charge again.

Based on this season, I think when Zach has a really good OL and receivers to throw to, he can still be elite... When he doesn't have the right tools, Arbuckle certainly looks better.

I will guarantee they don't. All people see is "Competitive team every single year that went to the GC every year from 2019 to 2024 and one of the greatest Leaders Of Men in league history".... Also: Took a franchise from the depths of hell to a GC in about 5 years. Everyone wants that.

2015 TD MB we happened to run into Osh and have a chat and that lifelong Elkskimo/TiCat/Argo won me over. I'm obviously a frothing at the mouth RABID fan of the "Grand Ol Loop" (tm Our Man Tait), and it's rare to meet people with that much passion and knowledge of this league and it's history. Osh is a kindred spirit for me, for sure. If this is the end, I'm hoping to run into him again this week for a chat and a beer.... Thank him for everything.

It's completely this. He has earned the opportunity to choose his own destiny. Everyone around the league knows he's the absolute top option in the CFL, and would give him whatever the hell he wants. I'm just not sure Toronto can offer him anything that we can't, aside from "physically closer to North Bay"... So it's a matter of where he wants to live at this point. We can offer the same money... The same freedom to do what he wants... Does he want a new challenge? Does he want continuity? Is Walters planning on staying and they want to keep this thing going, or does Walters situation (staying or going) have some impact on Osh's decision? I am curious what Wade's take on all this is. Maybe Wade comes in and says "a bunch of **** needs to change around here" and Pinball says "You are free to do whatever you want..." And THAT'S the clincher?? Time will tell...

CFL West Division Final: Coach Buck @ Knuckle Dragging Cousin Lovers
Oh it absolutely touched the ground but the arm was under it and he had control, more or less... I'm not incensed about the call by any means.... And that says a lot, coming from me...

💯... Anything is going to be a downgrade for sure. But we have to be prepared for that... And pray for the best.

That seems right... So that would be another week from today. So if they wanted to talk to him THIS week, they needed to ask permission... Or else wait until next week. But let's be honest... Rules or no, O'Shea and Pinball are old friends who both are likely to be hanging out this week during GC week. Conversations are going to happen, regardless. But Pinball being Pinball, is going to take the high road and keep up appearances...

Not 100% on the rules but Naylor said on TSN on Saturday "One team can't officially ask for permission until one week after the other team has been eliminated".

CFL East Division Final: Montreal @ Hamilton
So what's Alexander doing all this week to prepare? Is it just living in the ice bath? There's nothing they can do in terms of medications right? It's not like you can shoot a guy up with all kinds of drugs (a la Dunigan in 1991)...

CFL East Division Final: Montreal @ Hamilton
I said something similar while watching the game. Hamilton is, in a way, easier to defend, because you know Lawler is the primary option on every play...
