  1. I keep reading about knife attacks and what not, but every time the wife and I are home we say "when we move back, we're gonna spend a lot of time at the Common... especially in the summer..." and probably fish around there a fair bit, too, I think.....
  2. unless the condos help refurbish the area and remove the criminal element?? I dunno..... but maybe worth a shot.
  3. condos/apartments at the Forks... very interesting.
  4. I really believe this is the case, and not Walters suddenly forgetting how to gauge talent...
  5. for you Draft/Combine nerds... this goes tomorrow at 2pm MB time......... https://www.cfl.ca/2024/03/05/cfl-combine-presented-by-new-era-live-bench-press/
  6. with Nolan directing.... let's ******* go!! Bond movies are almost always great (to varying levels)... the Craig movies are all at least GOOD, if not incredible. I am always down for a Bond movie every 5 years or so...
  7. I've never seen this kid in anything other than the MCU projects where he played Pietro... had no idea he'd even done anything else.
  8. I thought Bowness only signed a 2 year deal, with the idea that he'd be transitioning to Arniel after this year....
  9. Pietro as Bond?? Bet you didn't see that coming.......
  10. I'll tell ya... I was at a concert in Commonwealth last summer that was a sellout... so 60k+ in the seats, plus the field was full with "floor" seating. It was bonkers in there... it's quite the atmosphere when they DO fill it....
  11. 6'6" 310 sun-blocker..... https://www.nfl.com/players/larnel-coleman/
  12. Saw the news and was trading messages with them last night...... just ruined my week. Winnipeg doesn't have THAT MANY breweries that you should be seeing a "bubble burst" right now... this is really sad. It was absolutely THE place to be before a Bombers game. Onkel's on the patio at SA on a warm Manitoba summer afternoon pre-Bombers game? Just nothing finer... there are some on here who have made outrageous claims about SA and their production methods (and quality of output) but I've never had a beer there that I didn't enjoy. Paul's sometimes "crusty" exterior was a big part of the charm of the vibe as well... support your locals folks.... you don't know what you've got until it's gone.
