Any negativity toward the DIS program stems completely from a cynicism that is at least SOMEWHAT a byproduct of not wanting new immigrants into Canada. I'm not going to straight up use the R word to describe anyone on this board, but Canada is better for our multiculturalism. It's part of what makes us a desirable nation to live and work in.

Murphy Brown officially got the axe yesterday... Connors has been great. Roseanne was dead weight.... Goodman and Metcalfe are amazing as always and carry the show.

It's not even about politics. It's about being a decent f*cking human being! Diversity is what makes our country so amazing and our league is a reflection of the country as a whole. Let's celebrate what makes us awesome!

The Diversity Is Strength campaign is one of the best things the CFL has ever done!!! Players and fans all loved it. By far the highlight of Ambrosie's reign.

You're right.....because as of now, he's at least 7, behind Couture.

It's already by far the best in the league, with Neufeld in there. He was outstanding in 2018, AND stayed healthy, to boot....... The "Neufeld Sucks" line is old, tired and no longer relevant.

The concern for me is precedent.....it's a slippery slope once we start becoming less focused on Canada and OUR league. I didn't like it when we started focusing on America in the 90s and I don't like focusing on Mexico now. The idea of mandating a Mexican player on each roster makes my stomach turn. Not because I have anything against Mexico, but because I want this to remain OUR league, and the sole focus be about Canada and OUR game. I've long been a proponent of increasing mandatory Canadians when most would prefer to see more Americans. I personally watch CFL because of the CanCon...I want to see us put a greater focus on our country and our players.

You can't put a ******* gun to the guy's head. His speech REALLY sounded like "Smell Ya Later..." so I'm preparing for this to be the only season we have him. Time to start thinking about Wilson or Knox in the middle next year.

Last I heard, he was also a regular at CurlingZone.com, contributing the same level of "intellect" to his posts.....

I've had more fun watching the Bombers the last few years than I've had since the 2001-era team. All I can ask for, as a fan, is entertaining football game in, game out. MOS, for one, has a Job 4 Life with WBBFC, as far as I'm concerned...

Schille and Kidby have been kicked out of at least one Sask Provincials for similar conduct (not necessarily drunk, but raging angry and abuse of officials), and Koe is notorious for his drinking, and even promotes his "legend" via his Twitter account. Fry, I think, is just a moron. There are some sketchy stories from his time skipping teams on the MCT circuit in the early 2000s. All of this is to say that none of it is even the least bit surprising, but extremely sad for Fry, who is not only an Olympian, but a MAJOR spokesperson for the World Curling Tour, the Canadian Curling Association, and all of their major sponsors (including Pinty's, where he's quite literally a poster boy). I've done a LOT of stupid **** at curling bonspiels over the years....but I can't even comprehend this.

I get that everyone is still angry (I'm physically ill thinking about it...) but Matt Nichols has earned the benefit of the doubt. What he's accomplished as a Bomber, and especially how he rebounded after the Banjo Bowl, he's more than earned the right to come into next year as the starter. I expect big things from him out of the gate next year. Nichols play doesn't concern me......Lapo's playcalling, however......

the buzz from insiders about a month ago was that Manny Arceneaux was for sure going to be a Bomber next summer, but I'm not sure I want him anymore. 2011 Manny Show, maybe.....

It's been well documented that I'm strictly a lurker these days, but I just wanted to mention that having this ****** canoe and iHeart (the single worst poster on this website) on "ignore" is basically the only way I can even come here to read. Thank Christ and everything holy for the ignore function......alright. I'm out.
