that was my thought, too....if he has any interest in playing CFL again for any reason, it should be in Wpg. He could be a huge star and the perfect #1 guy in the offense...

Far more concerned about losing Strevelution....Lapo recruited him and is a HUGE fan. They have Franklin already, which is pretty damn good, but you know Lapo would LOVE to have Strev there...

Funny story... I'm in the midst of reading Kelly Hrudey's book, and in it he mentions that if you ever see a goalie playing too deep in his net, he's having confidence issues. Goalies feel safer closer to the net, so in bad times, they will be playing way too deep rather than confidently challenging the shooter and cutting down the angle.I'd be surprised if Chungh left, and am feeling better about our chances of Bighill returning too...I think the CFL is a great representation of the country and should represent the things that make our country great, such as diversity...100% this.......these are a crap photo-chop job......the "silhouettes" are a much better shirt, IMO....D was the reason Helle looked better last year. Team D has been a mess so far this season, and Helle looks all the worse for it. Not sure why, but something is amiss...really hoping this........I've enjoyed all the Netflix Marvel stuff, and the latest Iron Fist and Daredevil were both very good, so hopefully they'll be kept alive somehow.If he has a good offseason training, and stays healthy all year, I fully believe he can have a big year...Any negativity toward the DIS program stems completely from a cynicism that is at least SOMEWHAT a byproduct of not wanting new immigrants into Canada. By far the highlight of Ambrosie's reign.You're right.....because as of now, he's at least 7, behind Couture.It's already by far the best in the league, with Neufeld in there. He was outstanding in 2018, AND stayed healthy, to boot....... The "Neufeld Sucks" line is old, tired and no longer relevant.The concern for me is precedent.....it's a slippery slope once we start becoming less focused on Canada and OUR league. I didn't like it when we started focusing on America in the 90s and I don't like focusing on Mexico now. The idea of mandating a Mexican player on each roster makes my stomach turn. Not because I have anything against Mexico, but because I want this to remain OUR league, and the sole focus be about Canada and OUR game. I've long been a proponent of increasing mandatory Canadians when most would prefer to see more Americans. I personally watch CFL because of the CanCon...I want to see us put a greater focus on our country and our players.You can't put a ******* gun to the guy's head. His speech REALLY sounded like "Smell Ya Later..." so I'm preparing for this to be the only season we have him. Time to start thinking about Wilson or Knox in the middle next year.Last I heard, he was also a regular at CurlingZone.com, contributing the same level of "intellect" to his posts.....
