I don't like this on a couple levels.... 1) They always say you don't lose your job to injury.....and he clearly has done just that. This looks bad on the team, from a PR perspective, among players around the league........ 2) I'm not sold on that side of the field yet.....not sold that he wouldn't help out......

That throw from Nichols to Darvin Adams on the final series last week, to set up the field goal, was a RIDICULOUS bullet into extremely tight coverage. I'm not saying Nichols is the second coming of Calvillo, but he can definitely put 'em where he has to....

Here's the thing about someone trying to pluck Spooner....to me, there's a big difference between plucking a generic import player on the PR and plucking a highly touted NI OL that we just drafted this year.. There should be some kind of rule about "entry level players" (first 2 years or something...) and how they can't be poached.

Etienne was primarily a kicker through college, but moved to receiver and had a pretty great senior year. So much so, that Terrence Edwards was among his biggest fans and pushed hard for the Bombers to draft him...

Kelly was supposed to be a QB Guru....he was supposed to be the offensive genius.......his personal choices for QBs and how to use them were beyond awful and among the all time worst in league history. I've never been more embarrassed to be a Bombers fan than when he was here.
