Ottawa Redblacks In Town Part 2
If we can get back on track a bit....... Today is the Bombers last practice of the week (they took Monday off and are doing walk-through tomorrow) and it's a closed-practice, so we won't know much about injuries until probably right around game time. Tomorrow's depth chart will have a couple answers, but as per usual with MOS, there'll be some guessing until just about kickoff....

the best season of Bombers ball since 1990 was 2001, period. Full stop. End of discussion.

Regular Season Bomber News
Players don't want anyone knowing about their injuries, so MOS keeps it close to the vest. It's been said that the players really appreciate that he doesn't put that info out to the public.

Listen, anything can happen "any given Sunday" (or Friday, as it were), but based on where we are right now and where Ottawa is, in terms of talent and injuries, there is no way we should lose to Jon Jennings....anything can happen, but it shouldn't.

the thing of it is, not one of these guys needs to practice at all this week in order to start on Friday, so it's not necessarily a bad idea to let them rest every second possible just to make sure they're as close to 100% as possible...

because he's not a very good QB.....he an DD are extremely similar players, IMO. The only concern is if the RBs get some kinda "Dead Cat Bounce" from this...

@DarrinBauming Chris Matthews (finger) is back practicing today. Those not practicing include Whitehead, Bighill, Hardrick, Hecht, Roh, and Briggs. #Bombers elected to take an extra day off this week ahead of Friday’s visit from the #RedBlacks, so today is Day 1. #CFL

Honestly, does it matter? Neither he nor Davis is very good, and the Bombers D *should* be able to handle either without much trouble...

I was honestly hoping they'd give him MORE just as a **** you for trying to appeal something so blatantly dirty and career-threatening (to his former teammate Collaros)

Yeah, that stuff about Temple started going around Sunday morning, so I sorta figured it happened recently...like last week or something......once the cops were involved, that was the end of his time in Winnipeg.

how is 2001 so long ago that people around here aren't clear on the details??? It was the greatest season of Bombers football in what......the last 30 years?- Matt Nichols Discredited Too Much? Passing Yards Are Meaningless
like who? The only team in Winnipeg's universe right now is Edmonton, and we not only beat them, but the game was never really in doubt. I feel like you're one of those people who, even if we win the GC, you're gonna say "Yeah, but we didn't win it the right way..."- Week 5 Takeaways
has to be kick off returns, doesn't it? Nelson's was a punt return...- Week 5 Takeaways
After Nelson's return, I felt like Whitehead would have scored on it.......just that little bit more speed. Nelson was gassed and got caught.- Regular Season Bomber News
MOS being "optimistic" doesn't tell me a lot. He said Bighill would be playing vs Toronto at the beginning of last week. We'll see who all practices this week...- 2019 CFL Season: Around the League
