Pikes sounded awesome. Semko is a full time musician/songwriter who was dabbling in the Country world for awhile. Not sure about the other guys but the royalties off their singles do well for them. They may have day gigs but they're still making money off the hits, for sure.

First time we went, we parked at BP's and it was perfect. Little walk in. Second time, we went to Stone Angel and parked there, had a bunch of pints and pizza and again a lovely little walk in. There's so many options. I love the stadium in the south and most of the time I'm coming from Transcona.

In fairness, so does Sara Orlesky (worse, maybe....) and people go nuts for her like she's the greatest broadcaster ever. I just don't get it...

they did have the Cannons and Trappers, but neither exist anymore, and even when they did, they weren't at the same level as the Goldeyes. I'd call it a level below, at best...

Bighill could very likely be scratched.....but I'd expect Wilson to stay at MACK and Miles to be at WIL...

the stadium is in a phenomenal spot, and I don't buy any of the bullshit surrounding it's location for one second.....it's always going to be inconvenient for someone. I LOVE where it is....

pro ball is done in both Edm and Cgy and Edm lost their lacrosse team to Saskatoon. Trust me, Winnipeg has way more going on and way LESS people....

Yeah, I'm thinking it's less disparaging than we're assuming. "Healthy" scratch is more like it. He felt he was ready and coaches wanted to give him another week to be 100%....more likely.

That doesn't make any sense, unless there's some weird off-field stuff that hasn't come to light...

as mentioned, the Bombers had a closed practice today, so there won't likely be any updates on the roster until close to kickoff Friday. The depth chart tomorrow will have some answers, but as we know, that can (and likely will) be a bit of a smokescreen...

Fenner's been about 50-50 so far this year, and I'm not sure if that's good or not, based on the system.....

so much revisionist history re: Burke. At the time people were terrified we'd lose him because he was THE hottest commodity in the leagues assistant coaching ranks. Canning Lapo was absolutely the right move, and at the time it was the right move to hand the reins over to Burke, because we were going to lose him otherwise. Just a total fluke that he was the shits as a head coach. Shame...
